It is not always possible that this trapped air escapes at the high point of the solar loop and thus the air bubbles interfere with the heat transfer in the heat transfer fluid. Flush and fill accurately with professional equipment Flushing the system thoroughly with high flow rate and filling it under pressure, trapped air in the solar loop is carried away and removed. Solarcheck Mobilcenter allows for the filling and venting of the solar circuit easily and rapidly in one procedure at the control unit. The pumps are capable of transporting air within the fluid without any problems. The inspection window at the filter ahead of the pump inlet is helpful: There you can check whether there is still air in the pipe system. Suitable also for ground collectors and radiant panel heatings Solarcheck Mobilcenter is not only designed for solar systems, but also for filling ground collectors and ground probes with heat transfer medium (see page 4). The filling unit may as well be used to fill water into radiant heating panels floor and wall heating and flush the heating pipes. Features Solarcheck Mobilcenter Pump Alternatively there are three versions of Solarcheck Mobilcenter available: Unistar 2000-a, dry self-priming impeller pump with glycol resistant perbunan impeller - a high quality, multi-purpose pump for contractors and installers. Flow rate: 30 L/min. Unistar 2000-B, dry self-priming impeller pump - characteristics like above, though double the flow rate: 60 L/min. with self-priming, high capacity centrifugal pump P 80 Rugged cart Easy to move with two large pneumatic tires, also over stairs and rough ground on construction sites. Fill- and return hose high temperature resistant up to 170 C (type UNISTAR) temperature resistant up to 60 C (type P 80). The functional hose holder keeps hoses tidy. A well-fitting interlocking connector prevents leakage of liquid residues during transport. Secure hose connections: Threaded hose couplings with highpressure crimp fittings. 30 Litre tank Tank can be easily removed for cleaning and has a large opening with screw cap to fill in the fluid conveniently. Metal stop valve at the tank outlet. It is possible to mix the fluid on-site in a clean container (if not ready-to-use). Extras for that see page 5. Tanks are easily interchangeable when using different heat transfer fluids. Replacement tanks can be ordered individually. Fine filter Solids (chips, solder- and weld residues) are filtered out by a built-in fine filter. A large inspection window in the filter enclosure allows for detecting air and debris in the pipe. Manual drain valve The maual drain valve in the discharge line is used to release the pressure in the delivery hose after use and allows for disconnecting the delivery hose easily from the mountings (only for Solarcheck Mobilcenter with pump UNISTAR). The pump makes the fluid circulate between containers and filling unit until the medium is ready. The installer then connects the filling hose to the distributor fittings and the prepared medium is pumped from the containers straight into the ground collector. A high delivery volume of the pump prevents trapping of air. Flushing and venting easily When the system is filled, a single move changes the suction line of the pump: the multifunction valve at the pump inlet closes the connection to the big containers and opens the line to the built-in tank of the filling unit. The heat transfer medium now circulates between collector and filling unit. If there are still air bubbles within they can escape upwards through the open tank.

Mixing heat transfer medium on your own By means of the multifunction valve, the fluid is moved in a circuit between pump and tank for mixing. When the fluid is ready mixed, you can close the internal circuit by a single move, without changing the position of the hoses, and the heat transfer medium will be delivered into the solar system. A built-in thermometer in the multifunction valve allows for the control of the appropriate temperature for mixing. solar heat and heat pump

By these hoses it is connected to the motor of the congeneration plant, a waste oil tank and a tank with fresh motor oil. The arrangement of pump and pipes does not change, no matter if waste oil is primed or fresh oil is delivered into the motor. By turning the two multifunction cocks the lines are opened and closed correspondingly. Additional cleaning effect Unlike when draining the motor oil by opening the drain plug the pump procedure better removes dirt deposits in the motor. The flow rate is higher and produces a suction effect that extracts the deposits. The pump is capable of transporting solids and will not be damaged by soil particles.

7 7 Flat Suction System - Effective Aid for Flooded Basements Flat suction system Unlike submersible pumps or water vacuum cleaners the flat suction system is capable of completely pumping out the fluid and is applicable for large areas. Depending on the dimension of the flooded area even several mats may be connected in parallel to one pump.
