1 This FAQ is here to respond to frequent questions about Lussier Dale Parizeau's Client Area. WHAT IS LUSSIER DALE PARIZEAU'S CLIENT AREA? Lussier Dale Parizeau's Client Area is a simple online tool that allows you to view and change your login information, access your insurance documentation in electronic format, print documentation, including your proof of insurance, and get tips and advice related to your products and services. WHO HAS ACCESS TO LUSSIER DALE PARIZEAU'S CLIENT AREA? Any Lussier Dale Parizeau client with an active personal lines policy can register to Lussier Dale Parizeau's Client Area. We only need to have a valid address on file. If this is not the case yet, please contact our Technical Support at CAN I HAVE A JOINT CLIENT AREA ACCESS WITH SOMEONE ELSE? Unfortunately, it is not possible to have a joint Client Area access with someone else in your family, a friend, or other. The Client Area complies with the Privacy Act it it therefore impossible to share a Client Area between two people. Should you hold a policy jointly with another person, only one of you can register for the Client Area the one with the default on file. That said, you can share your Client Area username and password to access your insurance file. However notification s will only be sent to the default address on file. IS THE DATA DISPLAYED IN MY CLIENT AREA UP-TO-DATE? In your Client Area, you can find the insurance documents pertaining to your active policies of the current year. As years go by, these documents will be kept in your Client Area. In time, you will also have access to documents from previous years. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for your documents to appear in your Client Area after you register. HOW CAN I RECOVER MY USERNAME OR PASSWORD? On the login page of the Client Area, go to the Forgot your username or password? tab. Page 1
2 Click on Retrieve my information and enter the address associated with you account. You will then receive an with a link to reset your password. By clicking on the link, you will be redirected to a web page in which you will have to answer your secret question. Finally, you will receive an with your new login information. Afterwards, you can elect to change your temporary password in the Manage Your Login Information section. HOW CAN I PRINT MY DOCUMENTS? To print an insurance document, go to the Manage Your Insurance Policies section, click on the file and then on the icon of the desired policy. Click on the button to download the document. Once you have downloaded the document, you will be able to print it. Please note that you need Adobe Reader to download documents. You can download the software for free at HOW COME MY DOCUMENTS WON'T DOWNLOAD? Please make sure that you have Adobe Reader, as this software is required to view your documents in your Client Area. You can download the software for free at If you already have Adobe Reader and are experiencing download issues with your documents, please contact us by at espace.client@ldpi.ca or by phone at HOW CAN I CHANGE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION? It is not currently possible to change your personal information such as your address or occupation. You will need to call your broker at LUSSIER to change this information. HOW COME I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO SOME GRAYED OUT TABS? Gayed out icons are for insurance products that you don't have with Lussier Dale Parizeau. If you already have one of these products with another provider and wish to combine it with your other Lussier Dale Parizeau policies, simply call your broker at LUSSIER to get a quote. Page 2
3 HOW CAN I GET A QUOTE? It is not possible to get a quote in your Client Area, however you can get an auto insurance quote or fill out a request form for other products on Lussier Dale Parizeau's website. You can also call your broker at LUSSIER to get a quote. HOW CAN I CHANGE MY PASSWORD? You can change your password in the Manage Your Login Information section (identified by the lock icon have changed your password, you will receive a mail confirming your new password. ). Once you HOW DO I LOG OUT ONCE I'M DONE? In the upper right corner of the page, you can log out from the Client Area. One single click is enough to log out and keep your information safe. It is not advisable to log in from a public computer. If you do not have a choice, it is best to remove the cookies from the computer after use. To do so, you need to go to your browser's Options section and delete cookies. IS THIS A SAFE SITE? The site has a high security level. Lussier Dale Parizeau is committed to providing a secure site abiding by the highest IT security standards. Lussier Dale Parizeau is also committed to comply with all applicable provincial and federal laws. Lussier Dale Parizeau implements all appropriate efforts to effectively protect your personal information. However, it is your responsibility to make sure that the computer and software you use are protected against all kinds of cyber threats. Lussier Dale Parizeau has implemented numerous safety and control measures to protect you and your personal information. Use of cookies: Cookies are used in the Client Area to allow users to remain connected throughout their activities in the Client Area. Encryption: The Client Area uses 128 bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption combined with SHA-1 (Secure Hash Algorithm). It is the most used and safest encryption. Multi-step registration process: We have implemented a multi-step registration process to prevent fraud and phishing. Only the person who holds the address on file can register to the Client Area as only them will receive login information for the initial connection to the Client Area. If you do not receive s as indicated during the registration process, contact Technical Support to make sure your address is accurate in our system. Page 3
4 Digital certificate: The Client Area's digital certificate was issued by Go Daddy. AM I THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE ACCESS TO MY CLIENT AREA? Only you have access to your Client Area (unless you are sharing your account with someone else in your policy). If you are having doubts as to how secure your password is, you can always change it at any time, whenever you want to. It is advisable to keep your username and password in a safe place to protect your information. HOW COME MY COMMERCIAL INSURANCE POLICY DOES NOT APPEAR IN MY CLIENT AREA? The Client Area does not currently give access to commercial insurance policies. CAN I PAY MY LUSSIER DALE PARIZEAU INVOICE IN THE CLIENT AREA? It is not currently possible to pay your invoice in the Client Area. However, you can print your invoice and make the payment at the local branch of your financial institution or via their website. You can also ask your broker to include your policy in our pre-authorized payment plan. Ask your broker about it at LUSSIER. HOW CAN I CANCEL MY POLICY? In order to serve you better and process the necessary paperwork, you need to talk in person with your broker; this is why this feature is not available in the Client Area. HOW DO I KNOW THAT A DOCUMENT IS PUBLISHED IN MY CLIENT AREA? When a document is published in your Client Area, you will receive an indicating that the document is now available. This way, you don't need to go check you Client Area all the time. The number of pending messages for each policy is displayed in the circle above the policy icon. WHY DON'T I GET NOTIFICATIONS WHEN MY INSURANCE DOCUMENTS ARE PUBLISHED IN MY CLIENT AREA? It may be that our notifications are automatically sent to your spam folder. Page 4
5 If this is not the case, please write to our Technical Support at or call them at to make sure that the address on file is still valid. IF I PRINT MY INSURANCE CERTIFICATE, DOES IT HAVE THE SAME VALUE THAN THE ORIGINAL COPY I USUAL GET IN THE MAIL? Yes, you can show a copy of your insurance certificate that you printed yourself to a police officer it has the same value. All necessary information is written on it. Just make sure that the full page is printed and that the information is clearly visible. Happy browsing!
