It is a garment Factory with a capacity of 5,000 pieces per day for woven fabric and 15,000 pieces per day for knitted fabric. The machinery selected for knitting is the most proper knitter for Ethiopian cotton yarns. In the project we envisage a complete knitted fabric finishing line with annual capacity of 3,030 tons of fabric and 5,371,000 pieces of garmented cloth. The knitting plant will create employment opportunity to 350 people and the garment factory will create opportunity for 1500 and total for knitting production line and garment factory the employment opportunity will be for 1850 people. The project will enable Saygindima to penetrate USA and Europe market by producing end-user products rather than selling fabric and yarns. Forward integration is mandatory for Saygindima to make its products more demanded in the market.
