2 IC Fluid Power Test System Pressure is one of the most important diagnostic parameters in the hydraulic circuit. Obtaining pressure readings is essential to successful preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. The IC Fluid Power test fitting allows the connection of a pressure gauge in only seconds while equipment is running. The IC Fluid Power fitting is the safest, cleanest, and most convenient way of measuring pressure. Using the IC Fluid Power fitting you will not have to worry about spilling fluids or introducing dirt or air into your system. The IC Fluid Power fittings can even be used to take a fluid sample. Designing your equipment with IC Fluid Power test fittings will improve the quality of your equipment. And in today s market, higher quality makes the equipment more attractive to potential buyers. The IC Fluid Power Test System consists of a test connector with built-in spring-loaded check valve (general applications) or soft seat piston type valve (low pressure or gas tight applications) and micro-bore high pressure hose to connect to a pressure gauge or measuring device. Function: The spring loaded check valve inside the IC Fluid Power Test-Point Fitting opens during engagement of the special micro-bore hose fitting end. The connection can be performed under pressure and by hand. There are no tools required. An O-Ring protects the dust cap from loosening during excessive vibration (Metal Caps only). The connection can be made under system pressure and without tools!! Material: Metal parts are made of carbon steel, zinc chromated. Complete stainless couplings are available upon request. Seal are NBR, 90 durometer, others by request. Micro-bore hoses have a working pressure of 9135/630 bar. Micro-bore hose core and cover is made of Polyamid with reinforcement of Kevlar. Minimum burst pressure: 28,275PSI (1950 bar) Nominal hose bore is 2 mm (0.079 ). Minimum bent radius is 20 mm (.079 ) Temperature range: -30 F to 212 F (-30 C to 100 C). Above parameters are at ambient temperature of 68 F (20 C) at normal load conditions. The actual working pressure of the test connectors and hoses depends on the installation port of the fitting. Everything required for instant pressure checking is included in one solid box. The gauges, the gauge adapters and the hose are safely nestled in a Plastazone cushion.
