Our specialties include Italian food and homemade Italian ice cream. The restaurant is open for breakfast from 6:30 am to 9:30 am, for lunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and for dinner from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm. Swimming pool: In our tropical garden we have a nice swimming pool. Use of the swimming pool is free of charge for our guests. The swimming pool is open from 7:00 am. to 8:00 pm. Sun beds and towels are available at the pool; bathrobes are available in your room. There are showers, lockers and changing rooms next to the pool. Fitness Center: Using the fitness center is free of charge. It is located at the third floor and opens from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Laundry service: We have a laundry service for our guests which is open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you want to use the laundry service, please put your clothes in the special laundry bag which is provided in your room and leave them on the bed. Our housekeeping department will pick up your laundry and return it to you in your room. If you leave the clothes in the morning, they will be returned to you in the evening of the same day. If you leave your clothes in the evening, the clothes will be returned to you in the evening of the next day. The laundry service is charged per piece of clothing. An overview of the costs is available in your room. Internet access: Guest computers with internet access are available in the lobby. They can be used free of charge from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms.

3 Shuttle service: We have a free shuttle service from the Don Bosco Hotel School to downtown and the nearby the beach. Please contact the reception desk for more information and the schedule. Bike rental: Motorbikes can be rent at the reception desk. The price is $ 5 per day for the small one and $ 10 for the larger one. The only thing you need is your car driving license. Souvenir shop: Some small souvenirs are available and displayed in the lobby. You can also buy a Don Bosco Hotel School t-shirt at the reception desk. Tours/Excursion: The reception will help you to book tours and excursions. Massage Service: If you would like to enjoy a foot massage or body massage, you can inform our reception. They can arrange a massage for you at the hotel. The price for a foot or body massage at the hotel is around $12. Of course, you can also make your own arrangements or get a massage at the shops. 5 Sihanoukville Practical Information Transportation in and out of Sihanoukville The bus station is close to the harbor. From Sihanoukville there are busses to Phnom Penh and Krong Koh Kong. Bus schedule: Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh Capitol Tours Busses leave Sihanoukville at 7.15 am, 8.00 am, 8.45 am, pm, 1.30 pm. Cambodia Angkor Express Busses leave Sihanoukville at 7.45 am and 1.30 pm. Mekong Express Busses leave Sihanoukville at 7.45 am and 2.30 pm. Paramount Angkor Express Busses leave Sihanoukville at 7.45 am, 8.45 am, pm. Phnom Penh Sorya Busses leave Sihanoukville at 7.10 am, 8.00 am, 9.00 am, pm, 1.10 pm and 2.00 pm. The price of the ticket and the length of the trip depend on which bus company you take. The cheaper companies (Capitol, Sorya, Cambodia Angkor Express) charge $4 - $4.50. The trip takes about 4-5 hours. The bus stops along the way for a toilet or lunch break and to pick up or drop off passengers. Mekong Express offers a direct service (no stops) of 4 hours for $7. Paramount Angkor Express offers a service with one stop for $6. The busses have a toilet on board. Mekong Express also provides the passengers with a small bottle of water and a snack. Paramount and Mekong are slightly more expensive than the other companies, but the busses are cleaner, faster and more comfortable making it worth the extra price for most people. Sihanoukville to Kampot There is a minibus service to Kampot run by G day Mate Outback Tours (tel.: ). The minibus leaves from Sihanoukville at 8.30 am. The trip takes about 1 ½ hours from Sihanoukville to Kampot, and costs around $6. Sihanoukville to Koh Kong VET (tel.: ) runs a bus service from Sihanoukville to Koh Kong at 7.45 am. The trip takes about 5-6 hours and costs $10. If you inform us in advance we can arrange your bus tickets for you and we can arrange a pick up or drop off at the bus station. Busses generally leave on time and are full so it is advisable to arrange your ticket one day in advance. Transportation in town For transportation in town you can take a motodup or a tuk tuk. The drivers are known to overcharge so it is necessary to bargain. The prices below are guidelines and depend on the number of persons, the time (in the evening it is more expensive) and your bargaining skills.

6 A motodup to the city center (Psar Leu market) costs about $0.50/ $0.75 and a tuk tuk $1-2. To Serendipity Beach a motodup costs about $1 and a tuk tuk $3-4. To Otres Beach a motodup costs about $2 and a tuk tuk $ 3-5. If you want to take a motodup or tuk tuk into town, please contact the reception, so we can arrange the transport for you. Shopping Psar Leu is the central market where you can buy everything from clothes and food to electronic equipment and jewelry. The main supermarkets with Western products are Samudera Supermarket (between Psar Leu and Ekareach street), Orange Market (Ekareach street) and Hi market (Road to Serendipity beach). Medical Services CT Clinic (tel , ct_clinic@yahoo.com, 47 Boray Kamakor St, City Centre) has a 24 hour emergency service and is the clinic used by all the expats. Money ANZ Royal has ATMs at 215 Ekareach Street (City Centre), 15 Ekareach Street (near Serendipity Beach), Victory Hill and in the Golden Sand Hotel (Occheutal beach). Canadia Bank is located at 197 Ekareach Street (City Centre). Union Commercial Bank is located at 195 Ekareach Street (City Centre). Post office The post office is located at 19 7 Makara Street, City Centre (over the road from Psar Leu). Tours From Sihanoukville day trips can be made to: Ream National Park Ream National Park is located 18 km from Sihanoukville. It contains beaches, mangrove forests, tropical jungles, off-shore coral reefs and two islands (Koh Thmei and Koh Seh) and over 150 species of bird and is well noted for its monkey population. Tours include transportation by car or van, an English speaking guide, a boat tour through the mangroves and jungle and a trekking in the park. The price of the tours is approximately $20 for a day, including breakfast, lunch, drinks and pick up from the hotel. Boat tour to the islands There are several nearby islands with good snorkeling waters and white sand beaches - within a 40-minute to 2 hour boat trip. A couple of nearby islands have accommodation, making it possible to stay overnight. The standard island tour will take you to three islands for snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing. The trip includes pick up at your hotel, breakfast and lunch. The price of this boat tour is around $15. When you book for a group of people, it is often possible to get a discount.

7 About Don Bosco Hotel School Tourism is becoming one of the most important and fast growing industries in Cambodia. The Don Bosco Hotel School, created and managed by the Don Bosco Foundation, was inaugurated in 2007 by His Majesty, the King Norodom Sihamoni, catches up with this promising trend and in the same time it supports the disadvantaged Cambodian youth in providing them a thorough education in the hospitality business. The Don Bosco Hotel School is not just a school but also a real hotel where the students learn on job cooking, food & beverage housekeeping and front office. Qualified and experienced teachers provide education. In addition, Cambodian and volunteer teachers from all over the world teach English, tourism and computer skills. The program runs over two years and includes beside theoretical education a lot of practice within the classes and serving the guests. As an extra on job training we send our students for a three months internship to first class hotels and resorts all over Cambodia. Since 2007 more than 300 students have completed the 2 years program. At present, the hotel school has 150 students (60 first year, 90 second year). The Don Bosco Hotel School responds to the needs of the poorest of Cambodian youth by offering them a high quality professional education that prepares them for work and for life, with benefit not only to Cambodia but potentially to other societies as well.
