2 GENERAL INFORMATION Apartment B is located on the ground floor of Praia Village. Access to the Apartment. On arrival turn left at the main entrance and follow the path around to the side until you reach the apartment. The door has a triple lock so you must turn the key 3 times and pull the door towards you to open the door. For security and to keep the apartment cool all of the shutters are closed so you will need to switch on the hall light to find your way around, the switch is located on the left as you walk in. Operating Shutters. The shutters are controlled by two simple up and down switches which are located on the wall beside each window and patio door. Simply press once to either open or close. Please make sure that the path of the shutter is clear and all furniture toys etc are moved clear of the shutter. Operating Window Bolts. The small key you have with the front door key opens all the window bolts. Simply twist the key and pull the bolt out allowing you to open the windows or patio door.

3 GENERAL INFORMATION Access to the Pool and Garden. One of the many advantages of having a ground floor apartment is direct access to the pool and garden area through the patio door. However should you need to you can access the pool through the large glass door at the front entrance and through access doors located at various locations. All doors have key pads and the following are the codes you will need for these doors. Codes for the doors 1957 Is the code for the large glass door front entrance which leads into the pool and garden area A Is the code for the white doors that allow access to the pool and garden area. Please Note. While the latch on the patio door is disabled to avoid accidently getting locked out while in the pool area, you should keep the front door key with you at all times. People have been locked out of other apartment by kids playing with shutters. When leaving the apartment for any long periods of time, please close all windows, replace bolts and put the shutters down. While crime is very low in Vilamoura prevention is better than cure and doing this also helps keep the apartment cool. Air Conditioning. There are air conditioning units in both bedrooms and in the main living room and each is operated by remote control. The units act as both a heating and a cooling system but it can only operate as one or the other so please insure each unit is blowing either cold air only or hot air only. Pool Furniture. The orange sun loungers are for general use by everyone staying in Praia Village. All other furniture is privately owned and not for use by other guests. 4 Terms and Conditions: and verbal bookings will be held for seven days All prices are quoted in Euro and must be the equivalent of the Euro price quoted. The rental period shall commence at 14.00hrs on the first day and finish at 11.00hrs on the last day. Premises to be vacated by 11.00hrs on the day of departure to the apartment- Keys will be available at 14.00hrs on arrival. Payment is by cheque or bank transfer. 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking, full payment is required 8 weeks in advance of arrival. An additional security indemnity is required on arrival of to the key holder, this will be refunded subject to no damage, breakage or extra cleaning required and will be refundable after inspection on the day of departure. In the event of damage, the cost of replacement will be taken and any balance remaining will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure. Weekend rates apply to: Saturday and Sunday nights Where a booking is made less than 6 weeks before departure, the full amount is payable at the time of making the booking. We recommend that guests have comprehensive travel insurance for your party's personal belongings which should include theft. loss and damage, public liability, medical emergencies and transportation delay. Please ensure that you have your Form EI11 in case of medical emergency.

5 Terms and Conditions: In the event of cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if the owners are able to re-let the Property and any expenses incurred will be deducted from the refundable amount. The maximum number of people who may not exceed 6 without the owners written consent. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean tidy condition at the end of a rental period. It is a condition that you are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents during your stay, and that you agree to pay for any such damage. Any additional charges will be deducted from the security indemnity. The client agrees not to act in any way that would cause disturbance to other residents. Subletting: The accommodation is reserved for the people named on the reservation and no other persons whatsoever are permitted to stay there unless this has been agreed in advance with the owner. The management company may request any persons found to be in breach of the above conditions to leave. The Owners shall not be liable to the Client for a) a temporary defect or stoppage of the supply of public services within the property or appliances in the Garden, or Swimming Pool b) for loss damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, or other matters beyond the control of the owners. We request that the property is kept secure at all times and remind guests that it is advisable to keep the shutters closed, for added security. We request that smokers do not smoke inside the property, smoking is permitted on the patio area only.

6 PRAIA VILLAGE RESIDENTIAL GUIDELINES. These are general guidelines for Praia Village to insure everyone has an enjoyable stay. 1) No use of the pool after 10.30pm. 2) No towels or washing to be hung on balconies. Only clothes racks to be used for drying items. 3) Take other guests into account when playing with balls to be used in communal areas. 4) All common areas to be kept clear of rubbish. 5) No parking opposite front gates or garage gates. 6) Sun beds and garden furniture are to be left stacked and tidy at the end of each day, off the grass to allow for sprinkler system. Individual responsibility. 7) All rubbish to be cleared at the end of each day. Individual responsibility. 8) All communal areas are strictly for the use of residents and their guests. 9) As it is a family environment, consideration must be given when returning late. After 11pm please think of those asleep. 10) As it is also an adult environment, consideration must also be given to those who want to sleep in the morning. Before 9am please think of those asleep. 11) No glass or bottles permitted in or around pool.

7 Vilamoura Falesia Beach is about a minute walk from Praia Village and is well worth a visit as it is really beautiful. Because of the Algarves location there is nearly always a lovely cooling breeze coming in off the Atlantic and makes walking the beach a real pleasure even when it is very hot. You can also walk the cliffs at Falesia and bring a camera as the views are exceptional. Swimming is also a great experience at Falesia as you have a mix of hot and cold currents meeting along the Algarves coastline and it a very strange but nice feeling. Restaurants on the Marina are all pretty good but the ones I like most are The Mayflower, El Lamparo, Fairways, Nosolo Italia, Zu Yi. Off the marina prices are much cheaper and there is a square just off the Rua Do Clube Nautico (Where the main Taxi Rank is) with a cluster of restaurants and I like both Cataplana and Concorde which are both there. There is an Indian just above Concorde which is also very good. Bars on the Marina provide various musical entertainment from lads bawling their heads off in the 19 th hole with a Karaoke machine to the much more laid back easy listening piano bar The Atlantic. For a really good live band nothing beats the band in the Irish Cabin. To watch a match, the best place is O Neills. Attractions in Vilamoura are as diverse as the Roman Ruins which are open to the public and are fascinating to anyone with an interest in history. While next door you will find the Roma Mini golf which is great fun for all the family. You will be amazed at the amount of water sports and boat trips which are available from both the beach and the Marina. The main booking offices are located on the Marina and are open into the evening. For adults only the Casino is worth a visit with live shows, a nite club as well as all the usual stuff you would find in a casino. If you are planning a trip, just call Ana in Elite Tours and she should be able to sort you out. A good day out for both kids and adults is Zoo Marine and there are regular buses from the marina every day and you can book this with Elite. Elite Tour can take care of all transfers you may need, private sight-seeing tours, water parks and other summer activities and special deals on golf tee times and golf club rental. In fact it may be worth while calling into Ana and she will advise you on trips, special offers etc. The office is near the Dom Pedro Golf hotel on the main car park for the Marina. McDonalds is at the top of the car park and Elite is down in the left corner. Or simply call Ana on the numbers provided in this pack.

8 Golf Oceânico Old Course Description This is the second oldest golf course in the Algarve. Set in an umbrella pinewood and laid out in an interesting way to take advantage of the natural contours. It is from the English school of Course design. The first Holes are easy and inviting with reachable par-4s. The par-3 on the attractive 4th is a Hole in One potential. Club selection from here will play an important part of your game, and straight shots will be needed. The 9th is an excellent example of this situation. The back nine has three interesting par-5s. The 16th providing a 522 metre challenge for good length and straight hitting. Oceânico Pinhal Course Description This course is laid through the pine tree forest of the area and is set back from the tourist beach area. The outward nine holes wander through the holiday villas that line the fairways. The well-positioned bunkers make the course very enjoyable to the players, testing their choice of clubs and their accuracy. The Par-4 on the 4th hole is difficult to achieve with water waiting for the erring shot. The Par-3 on the 8th of 149 metres is tricky than it first appears. The back nine-holes have a more open feel but the slightly altered 15th will cause a problem to meet the Par-4 it requires. Oceânico Laguna Course Description The 18 Holes have been laid out over level ground and provide and with the exception of the 11th and 12th that take the player around and over a lake, it is open fairways for the player with very few trees to present difficulties. It is a course that can be likened to some degree to the challenges that are provided by a Links course. However, there are many water hazards with strategically placed bunkers in open terrain. These factors combined with the occasional strong wind make for an interesting round. Oceânico Millennium Course Description Martin Hawtree has extended his original concept of the original 27 Holes by adding another 9 and created and creating two distinctive courses. These new holes are part of the Millennium Course and wander amongst the parkland of pine tress that are often found on the coast in the Algarve. The course is a pleasure to play with subtle with few very tricky situations except for possibly the par-3 6th with its lake on the left of the fairway waiting for erring balls. Oceânico Victoria Course Description The Victoria Clube de Golfe Course is laid out over virtually flat terrain covering some 90 hectares it includes a series of constructed mounds specially landscaped to emulate the outline of inland hills on the horizon - a feature that enriches the course with a sense of movement and harmony. This is at present the longest 18 holes golf course in Portugal and promises to be a notable course in Europe. Each hole has a minimum of five tees from which to play thus making the course suitable for golfers of all handicap levels. Before playing it could be advisable to take advantage of the immense putting green of around 2,500 m2 to "feel the green" in that very important end game.
