3 Teacher Guide for Scorable epat The purpose of this practice test is to help prepare students for the Tennessee End of Course Algebra II Test by providing a representation of content that is similar to the content on the actual test. The Practice Test contains 65 multiple-choice items. The student should be allowed ample time to read and answer each of the questions and will be able to flag items for later review and return to any item in the test before finally submitting the test for scoring. Once a student submits a test, the test will be scored and a detailed report showing the number of correct and incorrect answers will be generated. Teachers may use the Reporting Categories and Answer Key table on page 5 to identify areas in which a student may require additional instruction. Getting Started To administer the Practice Test: 1. Enter into your browser to go to PearsonAccess Tennessee Click on the Support tab. Under Resource Categories select epats. Select EOC. Select the desired Practice Test. Taking the Test To take the Practice Test: After clicking the link to the selected Practice Test, a student will be prompted to type his or her name. After typing his or her name, the student will click OK and proceed automatically to the test directions page. After reading the directions, the student can use the Next button to begin the test. Once the student has reviewed and answered all questions, he or she will proceed to the Review page. After verifying that all questions have been answered, the student will click Continue To Test Overview. On the next screen, the student will click Submit And Exit Test and then select I am finished with this test and want to submit my final answers and then click the green Final Submit button. A detailed response report showing which questions the student answered correctly will be generated. This report can be saved to a designated folder or printed.
