2 Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) means waste from households as well as commercial, industrial and institutional waste, which because of its nature and composition is similar to waste from households (excluding hazardous waste). Solid Recovered Fuels (SRF) - solid fuel prepared from non-hazardous waste to be utilised for energy recovery in incineration or co-incineration plants, and meeting the classification and specification requirements laid down in CEN/TS WI Refuse Derived Fuels (RDF) please see above the definition of SRF. In the Country Report only the expression RDF is used as it also covers SRF. A. (if yes please specify): There is only one coincineration plant (Aalborg Portland Cement works), but we have no information whether or not they pay a (full) tax or a graduated tax. 5 The Danish Utility, DONG Energy, announced in the spring of 2010 that all surveys, tests and development of technology for the co-incineration of waste in Danish Coalfired Power Plants have been cancelled. 5
