Pasteurisation is very often procedure number one when it comes to preservation of the just filled products. Individual programmes for all products and container types make sure the product will be optimally preserved and handled gently throughout the process. The LinaFlex tunnel pasteuriser offers a pasteurisation process with precise PU control and an efficient use of resources. You will get a pasteuriser configured in single or double-deck form that is specifically designed to meet your operational requirements. For example, it will be equipped with conveyors which are adapted to the properties of the containers. The quick installation of the modular pasteuriser is another plus for high-performance production plants.

3 Method of operation Tunnel modules The tunnel modules are divided into temperature zones which allow gentle heating and cooling of the containers before and after pasteurisation. The spraying system with snap-in spraying nozzles jets the containers with water that has been tempered exactly for the treatment zone involved. So the containers are treated uniformly and systematically with an economical use of water. CHESS heating system The patented CHESS heating system allows for running the pasteuriser extremely economically. Only one heat exchanger supplies the individual zones of the pasteuriser with hot water. A buffer tank collects the overflow and returns it to the pasteurisation zones via the heat exchanger. This closes the water cycle, thereby slashing the heating-up times for the individual zones and saving vast amounts on energy and water consumption. 8 Conveyors Conveyor and transport systems Two conveyor variants which are optimally adapted to the conditions in the pasteuriser guarantee safe and gentle transport for each type of container. All conveyor belts are made of durable materials and low on maintenance and wear. Narrow transfer areas at the container infeed and discharge points ensure a streamlined product flow. The high-performance plastic rollers at the bottom reduce friction to such an extent that only one main drive is required. The Marathon Belt and Ironman Belt conveyors can be retrofitted to existing pasteurisers. 9 PU control PUC 3 PUC 3 PU controller Maximum product safety - under all circumstances: The dynamic PUC 3 PU controller makes sure the required PU values will be accurately maintained even during production interruptions or in the event of a machine stop. The PUC 3 calculates the PU values in real-time and, at the same time, generates a preview of the expected results. The thermal properties of the product, the spraying temperature, as well as the conveyor speed are considered for PU calculation. The system allows for product change on-the-fly in the pasteuriser. Retrofitting new products is facilitated thanks to the Windows-based system.
