1 Deposit using your Flatbed Scanner Last Update: May 11, 2012 Information Sections Flatbed Scanner Requirements 1 Login Information 1 Identity Verification Feature 1 First Time Login/Testing Scanner 2 Install Troubleshooting 3 Make a Deposit using your Flatbed Scanner 5 Flatbed Scanner Requirements The user must have a PC or laptop with these minimum requirements in order to use the system: Windows Microsoft Windows XP, Vista (except Starter or Home Basic), Windows 7 Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) or 8 (IE8) Firefox 3.6x or higher TWAIN compliant scanner with a TWAIN driver installed in Windows, also supported is Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) drivers High speed internet connection Mac OS Version 10.6x (Snow Leopard) Safari Version 5 High speed internet connection Login Information Access the Foundation Bank Mobile Check Deposit system site via the following URL: Enter assigned User Name (provided by Foundation Bank) Enter Password (received from support@selectpayment.com ) Enter Company (foundationrda) Click Login. Identity Verification Feature Establishing the identity verification feature for the flatbed scanner is required during initial or subsequent login. While depositing online with Foundation Bank, the security system is acquainting itself with your typical online patterns and characteristics. The system compiles this information by looking at many elements, such as IP address, geographic location, machine ID, HTTP headers, transaction history, etc. In the rare case when unusual activity is detected, you will be prompted to verify your identity for Foundation Bank to ensure your account has not been compromised. User Challenge Questions and Answers are established by you, which sets up the behavioral monitoring program. If the system detects a variance, those challenge questions will be presented for your response. Set Up Process When presented with the Additional Security Information Request screen click Next. The Register Your Questions screen will appear. Select your 3 questions. Using the drop down arrow next to each question, choose from the list of 10 questions and type in your answer to each. Click Next. The Confirm Security Responses screen will appear. Verify selection and responses. Click Submit.

2 First Time Login/ Testing Scanner Test Scanner and Remote Deposit Anywhere Driver Install Process (Option 1): During first time log on select Test Scanner to determine scanner compatibility. If the Remote Deposit Anywhere Driver is not installed the following screen will appear. Click the yellow bar to begin install (Option 1). Click Install This Add-on for All Users on this Computer. Click Run Add-on. This will complete the Remote Deposit Anywhere Driver install. (Option 2) Alternative Remote Deposit Anywhere Driver Install Process: During the install process the option may not be available to click on the yellow bar. In that event follow the instruction to click here and install. Click Run. Click Run again to complete the process. 2

3 If the Driver has been successfully installed the Test Scanner screen should appear. If not, select Test Scanner from the Home Page. Select scanner type from list of active scanners. Select the size of the check used for the test. Place check face down on scanner (align with arrow on the Scanner). Close lid and click Test. Successful: An image of a voided check will appear on the screen. You are now ready to start making deposits with your Flatbed Scanner! Not Successful: Voided check image will not appear. Follow Install Trouble-Shooting settings below: Install Trouble-Shooting: There are 3 computer settings may need to be updated if issues are encountered during the Driver install process. Setting #1 Open an Internet Session and click on Tools. Click Compatibility View Settings. Selectpayment.com must display in the Compatibility View. If not, type it in below Add this website, click Add. Click Close. 3

4 Setting #2 Open an Internet Session and click on Tools. Click Internet Options. Click the Security Tab. Click Trusted Sites in the Security page. From the Trusted Site page click Sites. In the Website box must display. If it is not displayed just type it into the box below Add this website to the zone and click Add. When complete, click Close. Setting #3 Open an Internet Session and click Tools. Click Internet Options, then Security Tab. Click Custom Level in the Security page. 4

5 Use the right side scroll bar to display ActiveX Controls and Plug-Ins. The first 4 options must be enabled: Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompting Allow Scriplets Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls Binary and script behaviors Click OK when complete. Make a Deposit using your Flatbed Scanner Access the Foundation Bank Mobile Check Deposit system site via the following URL: Click Create Deposit. Use drop-down menu to select account for deposit. Enter the # and amount of checks to deposit. Click Next. Select scanner, size of check (personal or business) and amount of check. Place check face down on scanner glass and click Scan Front on screen. 5

6 The check will scan and image will appear. Click Proceed to Back. Sign back of check and write For Deposit Only. Place check face up scanner glass and click Scan Back. Review check image and click Accept Check. A will appear for a good image. If 2 checks to deposit, click Yes to scan another check. Repeat the process. After all checks are scanned click No to scan another check. A deposit verification screen will appear. To proceed with deposit click Yes to Make this Deposit. A deposit Conformation screen will appear. Click Print for a printable receipt. Click Start a new transaction to make another deposit. 6
