4 PLITVICE LAKES National park - Full day tour Situated in a thick forest, Plitvice Lakes are considered one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world. Sixteen lakes, connected by 92 waterfalls, cascade through its picturesque surrounding. Plitvice Lakes were declared a National Park in 1949, and since 1979, they have been on the UNESCO's List of World Natural Heritage. The park's attractions also include several caves and a great variety of flora and fauna. A guided tour of the park lasts for about two and a half hours, including both a boat ride and a walking tour. 7 TROGIR - SPLIT History and culture - Full day tour Split is situated on a peninsula and surrounded by historical towns and settlements. We shall take a walk through the 4thCentury Diocletian's Palace to visit its ancient Cellars, Peristyle, Roman temples (today Christian), Cathedrals and Baptistry, and then the famous Golden Gate. After sightseeing the town of Split and free time for individual exploring we start our bus ride towards Trogir, a small town under the cultural protection of the UNESCO. Trogir arose from the ancient Tragurion. This town is full of buildings and monuments testifying to its rich history. Here stands the Cathedral, with its famous portal by the historic local artist Radovan, City Loggia from the 15th Century, Ćipiko Palace, Town Hall, and Benedictine monastery from the year 1064, where a Greek relief (sculptural technique) is kept representing Kairos (the God of auspicious moment). 9 MOSTAR Full day tour We drive along the picturesque coastline, through the famous seaside resorts of Makarska Riviera, up to the fertile Neretva River Delta, where the road turns inland towards the interior of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will reach Počitelj, a mystic little town with an ancient Turkish fortification. After a short rest we will continue our drive along the river valley to Mostar a window to the Orient and an important trade centre during the Turkish rule. A guided tour will show us the town highlights. We shall visit the Oriental part of the town with the old Bazaar, full of picturesque shops and work-shops, the Mosque, and a typical Turkish house. Then walk along the legendary Turkish bridge from the 16th Century, from which the town was named.we leave Mostar late in the afternoon driving across the Biokovo massif which offers a magnificent view of the Central Dalmatia and its islands. Šibenik is the oldest Croatian town on the Adriatic coast. It is also called Krešimir's town, since it was the residence of King Petar Krešimir IV, the most important ruler of the ancient Croatian state.its narrow winding streets, stony houses, many staircases and the remains of the city walls give Šibenik that romantic Mediterranean atmosphere. The St. Jacob's Cathedral is the most famous building in Šibenik. Primošten is a beautiful and irresistible small town between Šibenik and Trogir. Primošten was built on an islet which is connected with the land by a bridge, and it has developed itself into a well-known summer resort which has something for everybody. 16 SEA KAYAK Around Trogir - Embrace Nature This tour will give you a different view of the beautiful UNESCO's town of Trogir and its surroundings. The tour is designed for beginners with easy paddling and you will never be far away from land. The whole trip will be paddling along the coast in a sheltered narrow channel between Čiovo island and the mainland, so we can always take a break for resting and swimming. The tour will encompass a wonderful adventure in the hands of experienced multilingual guides who will give you instructions in sea kayaking, inform you of the history, nature, and wildlife of Trogir - all while in the Čiovo and the Pantana natural reserve. We will start on Pantana Beach, 1 km west of Trogir, circumnavigate under Trogir s bridges, harbour, old walls, fortress of Kamarlengo, and the marina. Then on to the Monastery of Sveti Križ, on Čiovo island, where you can take a swim and enjoy the best coffee in town! After the break, we will cross the bay to Pantan lagoon and marsh - home to king fishers and many rare birds. At the end of the marsh we'll visit an old mill, built by Greeks in the 4th Century B.C. extended in the 15th Century under Venetian rule. Finally, we wil head back to Pantana Beach. 17 SEA KAYAK Veli Drvenik, Krknjaši The Blue Lagoon Krknjaši Bay is on the island of Veli Drvenik, not far away from land but a world away from mainstream tourism. It is well known to yachtsmen and captains of megayachts who love to cruise these unspoiled waters and enjoy the secluded beaches, but little known to outsiders. The 7 km trip from the mainland to Krknjaši will take you passed several small uninhabited islands, like Robinson bay a tuna farm, and will give you a real taste of being at sea kayaking, while never being too far from land. We'll spend 4 hours on the island and you will be given time to sunbathe, swim, hike, or snorkel equipment provided (if you wish to go further out to sea to snorkel one of our guides will accompany you if necessary). Lunch can be enjoyed at the restaurant in the Krknjaši lagoon, which is on the island of Drvenik only reachable by boat, or you must bring own. 19 QUAD & BUGGY ADVENTURE Explore island Čiovo Our qualified safety instructor will introduce you to the safe and fun way of exploring our magnificent wilderness upon your very own Quad or Buggy. Riding through the unique Dalmatian bushland and mountain trails on island of Čiovo is an exciting way to experience the beautiful scenery that the Dalmatian coast has to offer. The meeting point is in the small village - Žedno about 3 km from Trogir. There we start off on a ride across mountain trails through the wilderness situated on the picturesque top of the Island Ciovo and arrive at old Prizidnica Monastery - our first stopping point. Then we will drive to a mountain peak where we will be able to see a magnificent 360 degree view of the Trogir, Split and neighbouring islands of Šolta, Brač and Hvar. After the break we are on the road again and will ride our ATV's through the unique Dalmatian bushland and experience the beautiful scenery that the Island Čiovo has to offer. 20 FISH PICNIC - Drvenik Veli & Šolta Full day tour You start this full day excursion on the waterfront in front of the travel agency. The boat ride starts on the waterfront where you will have a chance to admire the old town while your skipper slowly passes through the channel between Trogir and the island of Čiovo. As we pass between small islets you will be able to enjoy the wonderful scenery and the panoramic view of the coast. Our finnal destination is beautiful lagoon / beach Krknjaši on the island Drvenik Veli, the symbol of untouched nature and clear blue sea.
