3 About Gävle Gävle is the residencial town of the region Gävleborg Gävle has a population of about , living in the town The entire North part of Gävle was burnt down in Out of a population of 13000, 8000 lost their homes. The goat is erected every festive season. One of Sweden s seven philharmonic orchestras is situated in Gävle. 3
