8 Sachets First Energy Supporting recovery from calving 700g First Energy Supplies: - High levels of available Calcium - Magnesium Many cows at calving with or recovering from transition diseases are deficient in magnesium. Magnesium is essential for calcium metabolism as well as metabolism of fat, energy and protein - Rapidly available energy - Yeast extract stimulating intestinal function - Vitamin E Vitamin E is an important anti-oxidant for the cows metabolism. Antioxidants play an important role in times of stress such as calving and in repair of tissue and healing. - Nicotinic acid Vitamins B1, B2, B6 & B12 Nicotinic acid production quite often does not meet the dairy cows requirements at calving, because of the effect of reduced feed intake on rumen function and increased demand. Research would indicate that Nicotinic acid plays an important role in dairy cow metabolism; Reducing fat mobilisation in early lactation Analytical Constituents Crude Moisture 1% Crude Ash 25% Crude Fibre 0.1% Crude Oil 0.1% Crude Protein 3.9% Calcium 14% Magnesium 2.14% Sodium 0% Composition Calcium Propionate, Magnesium Sulphate, Yeast Additives per kg Vitamins α tocopherol 3a700 1,500 mg Thiamine 260 mg Riboflavin 460 mg Pyridoxine Hydrochloride 340 mg Cyanocobalamin 1,700 mcg Niacin 14,000 mg Calcium D-Pantothenate 900 mg Biotin 142 mg Increasing the rate of metabolism of ketones - ketones are important as they reduce feed intake FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: Disolve one sachet in 20 litres of warm water and feed to the cow by means of pump or stomach tube. Store in a dry place (between 5-28 C) in original container. Keep out of direct sun light. Do not freeze. Packaging 12 x sachets per box Code:

9 Liquids Cal Plus For the provision of a supplementary source of Calcium to cows Product application At the onset of lactation, the cow requirement for calcium increases significantly. Research indicates that a significant number of older and higher yielding animals suffer from some level of calcium deficiency. Clinical and subclinical calcium deficiency can lead to a number of metabolic problems around calving, incuding milk fever, ketosis retained placenta as well as recumbancy. 500ml Cal Plus contains: 50 grams of both a FAST and SLOW release source of calcium. The fast source increases blood calcium quickly with the slow release source providing calcium over a more sustained period. A source of Anion An energy source Vitamin D3 Feeding Instructions: Analytical Constituents Moisture 50% Crude Ash 12.5% Crude Oil 0% Crude Fibre 0% Crude Protein 0% Sodium 0% Calcium 10% Composition: Calcium Chloride, Glycerol, Calcium Proprionate Additives per litre Vitamin D3 - E iu Cal Plus D3 Cows: 1 bottle of Cal Plus when you see the cow sick to calve. For example downer cows or after surgery 500ml Super Phos D3 Super Phos is an ideal means of supplementing the diet of cows & sheep with both phophorus and calcium during periods of need. eg. milk fever. About half of all cows suffering from milk feverrelated recumbency exhibit subnormal levels of both phosphorus and calcium Super Phos as an adjunct to therapy for parturient paresis (milk fever) Reduces the duration of recumbency, (blood Phos will be low) Increases the therapeutic success of the first calcium infusion Highly bio-available Analytical Composition: Moisture 50% Crude Ash 48% Calcium 11%, Phosphorus 9% Sodium 0% Composition Dicalcium phosphate, Glycerol Additives Vitamins Vitamins D3 - E671 20,000iu/litre Feeding Instruction: Cows: 1 Super Phos bottle, a second bottle may be repeated after 10 hours *Shake well before use. 13 Liquid Liverpak Supporting Liver Function The process of calving and the onset of lactation involve significant endocrine (hormone) changes for the cow. The onset of lactation sees a rapid increase in demand for glucose and amino acids for milk production putting significant pressure on the liver. The above coupled with the mobilisation of body fat can put significant pressure on the liver and its function and subsequent dairy cow performance. Feeding Instructions: - Feed after calving - Feed to support cows with ketosis or fatty liver Cows: Feed 60ml daily Note: Fresh drinking water should always be available 1 litre Liverpak 100 Rumen Protected METHIONINE & CHOLINE Liquid Phosphorus / Calcium Supplement Liverpak supports: The reduction of blood enzymes and supporting the increase in blood glucose levels for maximum performance. Metabolism and removal of fat from the liver Glucogenesis, antioxidant status and immune system Rumen protected carnithine involved in transport of fat into the liver cell, enabling its efficient oxidation.
