6 SUPPLY BASE OPERATIONS THE SUPPLY BASE CONCEPT A ONE STOP SHOP SERVICE CENTER On and around our bases, a multitude of service companies are established, making the bases into industrial clusters. They all enjoy the benefit of close proximity to a logistic centre and a multitude of shore base- and logistic services. NorSea Group s supply base operations are based on multiuse of assets and facilities, personnel and equipment. The multiuse of these elements result in a good utilization factor and lower cost for our customers. Located on the edge of the open sea, a call at a NorSea Group operated supply base provide the shortest route to a service centre open 24/7. Our supply bases provide safe and sheltered berthing, good water draft and a strong quayside. Highly qualified personnel, state of the art cranes and transport equipment, close inspections, and scheduled maintenance programs represent important factors for a safe and cost effective turn around of calling vessels. Bunkers, potable water, dry and wet bulk materials can normally be supplied from all quaysides. Additional to the services provided by our own operating companies, our supply bases have a high number of tenants, all service providers to the offshore oil and gas industry. 7 INTEGRATED LOGISTIC SERVICES NorSea Group s LogisticsCenter consists of highly trained and experienced logistics professionals combining the different services within NorSea Group, enabling us to perform as Your Logistics Department. NorSea Group provides total integrated logistic services to oil and gas companies for support of drilling campaigns and long term logistics support. Through our logistics center, we can provide nationwide logistic services comprising planning, procurement and management of supply base, aviation, offshore support vessel services and provision of related 3rd party services such as waste management, CCU s, transportation and fuel services etc. The service scope and customer interface is set up and tailor made in cooperation with our customers according to type of operation and client preferences. The configuration of services and resources might be set up as a dedicated single client logistic chain or as shared cost multiuser concepts. These services are available as a total integrated service contract or based on selection of elements where clients preference is to retain procurement and management responsibility of selected contracts within the logistic chain.

NorSea Group is the largest owner of supply base infrastructure in Norway. We have close to 50 years experience in developing the land comprising all our bases, a total of more than m2. All facilities have modern quays and bulk facilities. Additionally, these facilities comprise in excess of m2 of office, warehouses and fabrication buildings. 9 MARINE LOGISTICS DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF EQUIPMENT Maritime Logistic Services AS (MLS) offers a full range of maritime logistic services. The MLS business concept is based upon a combination of our logistical skills and expertise, marine operations, market knowledge and strong strategic alliances. MLS business principle is to obtain flexible and adequate marine resources, shared and coordinated between cutomers - You pay for what you use. Services include; Coordination and management of supply vessels serving offshore installations Marine logistics and marine operation planning, identifying vessels and/or cargo space requirements Market screening, tendering and vessel selection Coordination and management of vessels for various marine projects, rig moves, specialised transportation, barge handling, towing etc. Provision of vessels for offshore supply and cargo transportation, dedicated vessels or pool arrangements, standby rescue, oil recovery and fire fighting services Almost 50 years of handling various equipment for the oil- and gas industry in Norway has given us the best experience in challenging cargo operations.
