The weather changes quickly in Northern Norway, and it is just as beautiful summer or winter, day or night. We promise you a experience that is out of the ordinary and a close-up encounter with the nature! The home-cooked dinners tastes even better after a full day s nature-based activity. The trip will be adapted to suit the prevailing weather conditions, season and location of the fish. You get to try your fishing luck and you will also learn how to gut and fillet the fish. During the trip you will see white-tailed sea eagles and a rich bird life. Fresh fish straight from the sea is a culinary experience. We can cook the catch so you can taste it on board. Raspberry farm and Kobbelv Vertshus Go on a fantastic excursion to experience Europe s northernmost raspberry farm, Bjørklund Gård, where Borghild provides personal guiding and an introduction to her job as a raspberry farmer. The barn on the farm has been converted into a café where Borghild serves a delicious lunch of freshly baked bread from the stone oven, raspberry jam and cheeses from Kjerringøy. We sell raspberries, strawberries, red currants and black currants and you have the option of picking your own. Fishing in the land of fairytales Go on a fishing trip on board Fjordtur s boat Havøyjenta, a well-equipped boat with plenty of space for up to 10 people. The boat is equipped with echo sounder and fishing gear for deep-sea fishing. Other fishing gear may be hired. After an exciting day at sea, we serve a tasty home-cooked dinner based on local ingredients and culinary traditions. This package includes a 5-6 hour fishing trip, accommodation at Sommersel Marina, self service breakfasts and home-cooked dinners served in the rorbu (fishermen s cottage). You will get a close-up encounter with the North Norwegian nature and our experienced guide will share his knowledge and experience with you. Arctic Tysfjord XL - Three day wilderness adventure DAY 1: Arrival Welcome drink and dinner followed in the evening by a lecture about orcas. DAY 2: Orca safari After breakfast, we drive to the starting point for the orca safari. You will receive floatation suits then board the rigid inflatable boat (RiB) for your whale watching safari. Snorkelling with orcas is available as an extra. Whale ceremony in the evening. Duration: hours DAY 3: Nature and wildlife safari After breakfast, we head to Tranøy Light House, stopping en route at some places with outstanding views. If we are lucky, we will see the moose, fox, white-tailed eagle and other wild animal species. Light refreshments are served by the light house. Duration: 3-4 hours Northern Lights safari We start with a lecture about the Northern Lights and provide photo tips. We leave at 9.30pm to chase the Northern Lights. If we are lucky, the Northern lights will appear and we will get amazing views of the lights reflected in the water.
