Beginning in June, each Wednesday and Friday, children will participate in swimming, free play, and outside time while parents enjoy the Club. **Parents must stay on BCC property during Kids Club.** Wednesday Nights: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Friday Nights: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Dinner is provided. Ages 3 to age 12. Limited to the first 12 children who sign up. Cost is $15 f the first child / $10 f each additional child. NEW!!! CUB CARE - STARTING JUNE 3 New f 2016 is Cub Care f BCC kids ages Walking to 5 years old. Children will participate in free play in the Kid s Room. **Parents must stay on BCC property during Cub Care. ** Friday Nights 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Dinner is provided. Ages walking to age 5. Cost is $12 per child BCC BARRCUDAS Blacksburg Country Club offers a competitive swimming program f all ages and levels. We compete in the Southwest Virginia Swim League (SVSL). Any child ( adult) has the opptunity to participate. To be on the swim team, children should be able to swim the length of the pool freestyle unassisted. If not, they should continue in swim lessons the Mini Barracudas and join the team at a later date. Our coaches wk hard with each particular age group on stroke technique, turns, and competitive dives f each specific event while also nurturing a love and enthusiasm f the spt of swimming. As a member of the BCC swim team, you are sure to learn lifelong swim/fitness skills, share in an enthusiastic, high-energy team, and make strong friendships f years to come. MINI BARRACUDAS (Pre-team) This swim group usually consists of 4 to 8 year olds who are new to the team and are not ready to make a full commitment to the swim team. In this program, the children are building confidence through skill development. To join this program, your child must be able to swim 10 meters of freestyle. FEES $150 1st Swimmer $125 2nd Swimmer $100 3rd Swimmer $75 Each Additional Swimmer $50 Adult Swimmers The registration fee includes a non-refundable SVSL league fee, team t-shirt, cap, and end of the year banquet dinner. SWIM TEAM KICKOFF Saturday, May 28 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Come to the pool to eat ice cream, meet the coaches and fellow swimmers, der team swim suits and shirts, and have any questions about the swim team an/ season answered! 3 SWIM LESSONS Level 1 Beginner level, children getting comftable in the water. Level 2 Child is comftable in water, goes under, and shows signs of swimming. Level 3 Beginning of stroke instruction. Weekday Package $60 Mondays and Wednesdays June 6 - July 1, and July 11 - August 4 6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. Saturday Package $30 June 11 - July 2, and July 9 - August 6 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Children must be 3 years old to participate in our group lessons. The minimum f participants is 3 per group. Please sign up in the swimming lesson book at the lifeguard table. Private Lessons $20 per child 30 minutes Semi-Private Lessons (Up to 3 Children) $15 per child 30 minutes SWIMMING LESSON ICE CREAM PARTY July 2 & August 6 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Join us to celebrate the completion of group lessons. All participants are invited to join! JUNIOR GOLF JUNIOR GOLF CLINICS (AGES 6+) $15 per clinic. Our program provides a chance f young golfers to focus on their game, continue to develop, and enhance their skills during the offseason. Our goal is to provide increased levels of instruction based on a child s age and ability and have children reaching their goals f the upcoming season. Juni golf clinics are open to ages six (6) and older. April 1 - End of School Tuesday - Thursday, 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. End of School - August 8 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Ages 6-10 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Ages 10+ JUNIOR TENNIS JUNIOR TENNIS CLASSES Blacksburg Country Club has a tradition of training great juni tennis players in the state of Virginia. We strive to have classes available f beginners, recreational, and USTA tournament players at BCC. The class guideline (see right) allows you to see where your child might fit into the program at our Club. Feel free to contact Bill Woods (bill@blacksburgcc.com) if you have any questions about the juni programs. Players must sign-up f classes. PRIVATE LESSONS 30 minute private lesson...$20 per lesson 45 minute private lesson...$30 per lesson 60 minute private lesson...$40 per lesson USTA JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS USTA Juni Team Tennis brings kids together in teams to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams. It promotes social skills and imptant values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as individual self-growth. Also, it s a fun environment f kids to learn that succeeding is really me about how they play the game not win lose. USTA Juni Team Tennis is designed f kids ages 5-18 at our club. Teams are co-ed consisting of at least 4 boys and 4 girls. We have a spring and fall season and compete against other clubs/teams in the NRV and Roanoke area. SNAG GOLF (AGES 3-6) Every Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., $10 per clinic SNAG (Starting New At Golf) contains all the elements of golf but in a modified fm. The game has its own simplified rules and terminology that adds fun to the learning and playing experience. Falling somewhere between miniature golf and regulation golf, SNAG allows f full shots, pitching, chipping, and putting. The SNAG ball has a limited distance, with the average player launching it a maximum of 50 yards. Call to sign up. JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP JULY 18 The 2016 BCC Juni Club Championship is open to all juni golfers and is separated by age divisions. Sign up in the golf shop beginning June 15. JUNIOR TENNIS CLASS GUIDELINES DINKERS Ages 6-8 Advanced Beginner Level This class incpates the USTA Quick Start training program f kids. SLICERS Ages 7 11 Intermediate Level This class moves to the next level of the USTA Quick Start program with emphasis on learning how to play the game. SMASHERS Ages Intermediate Level These players are ready to be taught different strategies f singles and doubles (baseline game, serve & volley, aggressive mid court play). JUNIOR ACES Grades 6-12 Advanced Level These players are participating in tournaments and/ high school tennis and are ready f the advanced game. JUNIOR TENNIS PARTIES June 17, July 22, August 26 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Join your friends f a night of tennis, pizza, fun, and games! They are divided by the following age and play levels: Age Groups: U18, U16, U14, U12, U10 and U8 Play Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced 3

Campers will play a variety of water games, discuss water safety, and enjoy swim instruction. $75 f the week Ages: 4-6 May 31 - June 2 Juni All-Spts Camp This camp consists of a rotation of golf, tennis, and swimming instruction each day. Also, each camper will receive a tennis racquet ($30 value). Snacks provided. $125 f the week Ages: 4-6 June Camp KidZone We ll play, make crafts, and enjoy outside time. Snacks provided. $75 f the week Ages: 2-6 July 5-7 Juni Wet n Wild Art Camp Kids can fill their art ptfolio with different paintings, pottery, drawings, and much me in this crafty camp! $125 f the week Ages: 4-6 July Juni BCC Olympic Fun Camp Join us f the last week of summer and party like a rock star! We ll have a talent show, party, our own Olympic games, and ice cream. Snacks and lunch included. $125 f the week Ages: 4-6 August 1-4 Friday KidZone Need to run errands enjoy some quiet time? We ll watch the little ones while you get things done! Snacks provided. $125 f the summer Ages: 2-6 Every Friday June 3 - August 5 Camp registration begins on Sunday, April 3 at 3:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend, you may designate someone to register f you register through beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3. Early registrations cannot be accepted. Due to the popularity of our summer camps, we are unable to allow non-members to participate. A $50 non-refundable deposit is billed on the day of registration. 4
