Scroll down and pick Australia as the country, then search for Catholic Education Office, Dioceses of Sale and click on it. 4) Put your mouse over Microsoft Office 2013 and click Get it now! 5) Click Add to Cart next to the Free option on the right 6) If you haven t already, you ll need to create an On the hub account. 3 7) Enter in your Lavalla address. You MUST use your Lavalla address or else On The Hub won t know that you re a Lavalla student and you won t be eligible to download Office! 8) On the next page you ll need to enter your first name, last name, pick a password and select Student from the box last box. When you are done, click Submit. 9) You ll receive an from Roman Catholic Trusts Corporation for the Diocese of Sale. It may take up to 10 minutes to arrive. 10) Click on the link in the to confirm your address. You ll be taken to the website and told your address has been confirmed. 11) Click on Microsoft Office 2013 again, and click Add to cart once more. 12) You ll be taken to your shopping cart and will show you your selection. There are extras available on this page (such as requesting a physical copy of Office instead of a download link) but these are extra and require a credit card. 4 13) On the next page, read the terms and conditions, then type in your address and your name. When you are done, click I Accept 14) You ll be taken back to the final order confirmation page. Ensure everything is correct (Total should be $0.00. If it s not, you may have clicked on another option by mistake. 5 15) You will now be taken to a page with your download link and your product key: 16) You have 31 days to download your software. After that time, you will be unable to download the software again. **PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KEEP A COPY OF YOUR PRODUCT KEY!** After 31 days you will NOT be able to access your product key, and you would need to pay a retrieval fee, so write down the key, print it out and store it safely on a USB stick somewhere 17) To download Office, click Start Download. You ll be taken to a page where you need to download two files, a download manager, and a download file (which tells the download manager where to find the Microsoft Office files): a. Lavalla has Microsoft Office on a USB stick, so you don t need to download Office if you don t want, Lavalla just needs your product key to install Office. 18) Download the SDM (click on the link, then click Run if prompted, or locate and run the file when it has downloaded: a. 6 19) Download the SDX file and run it: 20) Click on Start Download next to your desired download. a. To determine if you need the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Windows: i. On Windows 7, click Start, then right-click on Computer, then go to Properties. Look for a line that says either 32 bit or 64 bit. ii. On Windows 8 and 8.1, right-click on the Start button and go to System. Look for a line that says either 32 bit or 64 bit 21) Your download will start. It may take a long time and will use a portion of your internet (approximately 800MB or 0.8GB. The average internet limit is about 20GB but may be as low as 1-5GB depending on your provider and internet plan) so please ensure you have enough internet usage remaining before starting the download so you don t run over your limit. 22) When your download is done, click Launch Download.
