2 SUNDAY 3 RD OF JULY Food & Craft Markets A selection of superb food produce & Craft by artisans from around Ireland Farmyard 12noon- 5pm Baltic Day Baltic Day is a one day festival which brings together three countries, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in a bid to introduce Baltic cultural heritage. Food and craft fair, traditional folk music and dance performances will take place throughout the day. Baltic Day festival is organised by the Estonian, Latvian and the Lithuanian Embassies in Ireland in co-operation with the OPW. This family friendly event is free to attend.

3 SUNDAY 10 TH OF JULY Food & Craft Markets A selection of superb food produce & Craft by artisans from around Ireland Farmyard 11am- 5pm Irish Defence Forces Open Day The Irish Defence Forces open day will include a full weapons and equipment display, with all corps of the Defence Forces participating and showing the best of their equipment. There will be a careers exhibition where visitors can learn about life in the Defence Forces from some of our serving members. The Defence Forces parachute team will also showcase their skills as they conduct jumps from the Air Corps helicopters flying overhead. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Army Pipe Band on the day. The event follows on from the success of last year, and is sure to be a fantastic day for all the family to enjoy.

On the day there will be performances of traditional Indian song, dance, music and folk culture from various states of India.

10 SUNDAY 21 ST OF AUGUST FRIDAY 26TH 2pm Plant Fair Now in its tenth year the Farmleigh Plant Fair takes place on the beautiful grounds of the estate. A wide variety of specialist growers from all over Ireland will have an extensive range of special and exotic plants for sale. Special guest celebrity gardener Maire Staunton will be with us on the day and will deliver two gardening talks at 1pm & 3pm. There will also be a children s play garden & workshops on the day with St James s Brass & Reed Band Garden Walking Tour with Carmel Duignan Free Garden Walking Tour. Assemble at the Walled Garden

11 SAT/SUN 27/28TH OF AUGUST 11.30am-5pm SAT 27TH Family Comedy Weekend Come to the funny farm at Farmleigh for jokes, laughter, silliness and funny faces. A fun interactive comedy weekend for all the family. Family-friendly Stand-up Comedy shows, Comedy Workshops for Children, Joke writing, Poetry and Magic. with Route 66 Big Band SUN 28TH with Blanchardstown Brass Band

12 SUNDAY 4 TH OF SEPTEMBER SUNDAY 11 TH Nepal Day As in the previous years, this year s Nepal Day will be equally colourful with Nepalese and Irish cultural performances, Photographic Exhibitions, Nepalese Handcraft Stalls and delicious Nepalese food. This year s Nepal Day will also celebrate 17 years of establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Ireland.
