1 Cloud Timezone Configuration User Account Time, Camera Account Time, and Camera Time When the camera is in Cloud Mode, there are three locations in which the timezones need to be set. Camera Time Camera Account Time User Account Time The Camera Account Time and User Account Time are set in your Cloud account. The Camera Time needs to be set on the camera. If you already signed up for a NetCamPro Cloud account, the system will have asked you to chose your User Account Time. As long as the Camera Account Time and the Camera Time are the same, the User Account Time will calculate the difference and display the correct time in your account. User Account Time Camera Account Time Camera Time This timezone is set whenever a Cloud account is created. In most cases, this value is already set correctly. Settings > Basic > Account Time Zone This timezone is associated with your camera's FTP account on the Cloud. Default is set to UTC. Settings > Cam Configuration > Camera Account Timezone This is the timezone inside the camera. Change this setting to your local timezone if you need your recordings to show the correct, local timestamp. Default is UTC. Use NetCamProLive, or the camera's internal website. Note: Please keep in mind that for your Cloud account to display the correct time, the Camera Account Time and the Camera Time need to be the same timezone.

2 1.) Camera Time: Setting the Camera Timezone The Camera Time is a setting on your NetCamPro camera. To change the Camera Time you need to login to the camera's admin backend which is available via the camera's IP address. You can find the camera's IP address by using the NetCamProLive app. (Example: apple (Apple ios) (Android) At the camera's welcome screen, click Settings and log in using the camera's admin account. The default user name and password are admin/admin. Please make sure to record your passwords. We do not keep a copy of your password. If the password gets lost, the camera needs to be factory reset. Note: We recommend using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to log in to your camera.

3 Upon successful login, go to Tools, then Date & Time. 1.) From the Date & Time menu, click on the drop down menu and select your local timezone. If you live in a timezone that has daylight savings time please make sure to check the DST setting: 2.) Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Savings Time.

4 Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Apply. Reboot the camera.

5 2.) Camera Account Timezone: Set the camera's FTP Account Timezone All files send to the Cloud by a cameras contain a timestamp. By default this timestamp is in UTC. If you changed the timezone in the camera, the Camera Account Timezone needs to be adjusted. a.) Log into your Cloud account at: b.) Click on the Settings icon on the top of the screen c.) Go to tab Cam Configuration. From the drop down menu, choose the timezone that corresponds with the timezone you set in the camera and Save Changes. a.) Login to b.) Click on Settings c.) Set your Camera Account Timezone and save the changes. Note: Modifying the timezone will display existing images at the wrong hour and with an offset. All new images arriving after the timezone changes will be indexed correctly. Please give your account 24h to settle and reflect the timezone changes.

6 3.) User Account Time: Your Timezone Your User Account Timezone was set when you first created your NetCamPro Cloud account. As long as both, the Camera Time, and the Camera Account Timezone are identintical, the User Account Timezone will take the difference and display the correct time to you. Having the difference calculated only applies if cameras are deployed in multiple timezones, or both, the Camera Time, and the Camera Account Time are left in the default UTC setting.
