The work started in The shape of Grieghallen resembles a grand piano with a bouquet of flowers on the lid. In recent years, Grieghallen has been transformed into Norway s leading integrated culture, conference and exhibition centre. It is located in the centre of Bergen, with all the recommended hotels within walking distance. 5 Welcome to Bergen! Once again we are pleased to invite you to the Bergen Shipping Executive Conference. Last year s event gathered over 200 shipping executives from all over the world. BSEC 2008 will take place on 10 April. Representatives from companies within all sectors of shipping will have an interest in attending, due to the fact that the subjects chosen apply across the global shipping industry.
