34 KAMU Peer learning for immigrants The project forms peer learning pairs composed of a student of social services from Metropolia UAS and a student with an immigrant background at a vocational school The immigrants participating in the project have had difficulties in integrating into Finnish society and finding a job Slides created by 34

35 KAMU supports the integration of immigrants Cooperation between Metropolia, the Keskuspuisto vocational school and the Kalliola Settlement prevents immigrants social exclusion and promotes their integration Helps immigrants learn Finnish and find new hobbies Bachelors of Social Services learn about volunteer work and working with customers The idea behind KAMU is there are different ways of being and working, but it should always be together. 36 SunEdu builds solar-powered learning environments in developing countries A learning environment powered by renewable energy is built around a solar panel and a simple e-reader A learning environment for the conditions in developing countries Launched in late 2012, the 18-month project is being carried out in Tanzania Slides created by 36

42 ASVA Case Managers in health care centres for patients with multiple health care needs The project maps and develops the Case Manager Model for health care centres reception work The aim is to ensure that patients with multiple needs receive care, and to distribute work at health care centres in a more efficient way Case Managers are responsible for patients with multiple health care needs at health care centres.
