3 REGISTRATION FEES: COMPETITORS (enrolled before May 1 st, 2016): per athlete 12,00 COMPETITORS (enrolled after May 1 st, 2016): per athlete 20,00 Note: For each enrolled athlete it is mandatory to print the Athlete Accreditation Pass, from the Kannon enrollment system. The Athlete Accreditation Pass will be the official accreditation document which will allow access to the official weigh-in operations, after it has been validate at the accreditation desk. FEES: The tournament fees for foreign athletes will be paid during the accreditation operations, at the Sports Hall, Saturday May 7 th and Sunday May 8 th as scheduled in the attached programme and, in any case, before the official weigh-in operations. COMPETITION ACCREDITATION: In order to facilitate the smooth running of the event and, consequently, to improve participants' comfort, it is required: a) To register athletes/coaches, on time, through the appropriate section of the website b) That only one delegate per Club has access to accreditation procedures at the Sports Hall, to the fees payment and to the Athlete Pass validation; c) That only one delegate per Club will report to the accreditation procedures, and only to the appropriate operator in charge of the registration procedures, for those athletes/coaches who were not previously registered and who still want to participate in the tournament; d) The validated Athlete Pass will be the official accreditation document which will allow access to the official weigh-in operations. 4 Città Murata 2016 International Judo Tournament RULES ENROLMENT: All entries for athletes/coaches must be done exclusively online through the website To receive the login data for the first time, please use the link on the registration page of the website and fill in and submit the request form. APPLICATION DEADLINE: 1. The athletes/coaches personal information must be recorded through the appropriate section of the website before Sunday May 1 st, 2016; 2. Registration will close on reaching the maximum number of 250 athletes on Saturday and 500 athletes on Sunday; 3. Athletes registered after May 1 st, or during the competition days, will pay a 8,00 surcharge. BELT GRADE: The competition is open to all belt grades. 5 CONTEST TIMES: U13 2 minutes exactly (no time limit for the Golden Score) U15: 3 minutes exactly (no time limit for the Golden Score) U18: 4 minutes exactly (no time limit for the Golden Score) U23: 4 minutes exactly (no time limit for the Golden Score) Veterans: 3 minutes exactly (no time limit for the Golden Score) ATTENDANCE: All the Clubs affiliate to the FIJLKAM for the current year, or to a foreign Federation recognized by FIJLKAM, can participate in the Città Murata 2016 International Judo Tournament. All participating athletes must be regularly and properly enrolled to FIJLKAM, or to a foreign Federation recognized by FIJLKAM, for the current year. WEIGH-IN OPERATIONS: Athletes must go through the official weigh-in operations with the Athlete Accreditation Pass validated by the tournament organization, along with a valid ID and the Federal license valid for the current year. The official weight verification will take place at the Sports Hall Saturday May 7th and Sunday May 8th, 2016, as scheduled in the attached programme. Male athletes must be weighed with judogi trousers; female athletes must be weighed with judogi trousers and white t-shirt (with no collar). There will be a 500g tolerance for everybody. COMPETITION SYSTEM: It consists of knock-out competition with Double Repêchage. The Poule system (round robin) will be adopted for weight categories in which there are up to 3 (5 for Veterans) athletes. The second called competitor can wear the blue judogi. DRAW: The draw will take place automatically, via software, at the end of the weight operations. We will try, wherever possible, to make athletes belonging to the same Club fight together as late as possible. REFEREEING: Referees will be nominated by the Veneto Regional Committee of the Italian Federation of Judo (FIJLKAM). Each fight will be refereed by one Referee and two Corner Judges or by one Referee on the mat and one Referee at the video check table (C.A.Re. System). Current international rules in force for Judo competitions will be applied. In particular, KANSETSU- WAZA and SHIME-WAZA are prohibited for U13 and U15 age classes. In no event or circumstance athletes and/or their representatives can appeal the decision of the Refereeing Committee. No appeal and/or protest against the decision of the Referee will be accepted. 6 SCORES FOR CLUB CHART: Clubs will be ranked, giving a score to each athlete according to the following table: 1 st place - 10 points 2 nd place - 8 points 3 rd place - 6 points Athlete alone in category 1 point 5 th place - 4 points 7 th place - 2 points 9 th place or below 1 point AWARDS: For Veterans competition Clubs 1 st to 3 rd place CUP or PLATE For the other age classes competition Club 1 st place CITTÀ MURATA TROPHY Clubs 2 nd to 5 th place CUP or PLATE Club coming from the farthest away CUP or PLATE For the athletes Athlete 1 st place Gold Medal * Athlete 2 nd place Silver Medal * Athlete 3 rd place Bronze Medal * * Medals will be produced in non-precious material and they will be gold-like, silver-like and bronze-like colors. Trophy, Cups and Plates will be won by the Club that will have the highest number of total points earned by their athletes in both male and female categories. In a tie situation the prize will be awarded to the Club with more 1 st, 2 nd and/or 3 rd place athletes. If still tied it will be given to the Club with fewer athletes, then to the Club that came from the farthest away. AWARD CEREMONY: It is mandatory that all the athletes placed in the first three positions, in their relative weight classes, take part in the Award Ceremony. If this does not happen, the organizers of the Città Murata event would have the right to not give the medals to those athletes who, for whatever reason, are not present at the Award Ceremony. It is mandatory that a delegate for each winning Club takes part in the Award Ceremony. If this does not happen, the organizers of the Città Murata event would have the right to not give the prize to those Clubs which, for whatever reason, are not present at the Award Ceremony. 7 DISCLAIMER: Each Club is liable for their own athletes and, in particular, regarding the checking-up of their gender and the status of non-pregnancy for women. Each Club, in the figure of its athletes's Coach and/or in the figure of its legal representatives, and each referee, are responsible for themselves and for their athletes and they assume full Criminal and Civil liability in case of accidents. In addition, they have to provide all insurance coverage, for the current year, for the athlete who is participating in the Città Murata tournament, for the Competition Officials (including referees during competition), thus releasing the tournament organizers from any liability. Gabrielli - Italy Saturday May 7 th, 2016 VETERANS from 8.30am to 9.30am U13-U15-U18-U23 from 5.00pm to 6.00pm Sunday May 8 th, 2016 U13 from 8.00am to 9.00am U18 from noon to 1.00pm U15 from 9.30am to 10.30am U23 from 3.00pm to 4.00pm DRAW: The draw will be made on Saturday May 7 th (for Veterans) and Sunday May 8 th, 2016 after the closure of the official weigh-in procedure COMPETITON SCHEDULE: The competition will start after the category draw and the official board predisposition. 9 ATHLETES AWARD CEREMONY: The athletes award ceremonies will take place after the end of the competition of each age group. CLUB AWARD CEREMONY: The Club award ceremony will take place each day at the end of the competitions, after the award ceremony of the last age group. It is mandatory that all the awarded athletes attend the Award Ceremony wearing the white judogi. Their absence will allow the tournament organizers to not give the medal to the athlete who does not participate in the ceremony. It is mandatory that a delegate of each awarded Club attends the Award Ceremony. The absence will allow the tournament organizers to not give the prize to the Club who does not participate in the ceremony. Note: the tournament organizers reserve the right to change the competition schedule if technical times will be shortened or stretched, due to the number of participant. Kyoto Judo Kai a.s.d. 9/12
