1 Quick Reference Guide Customizing Your Co-Branded Website Did you know you have several options for adding your own flair to your co-branded website? The /explore page of your site can display your own customized combination of content! You can: Add your own content to the Media Gallery by uploading videos and banner photos Add personal and Client media to the Success Stories area of your site Customize your Landing Page by selecting what appears in the media area at the top of the /explore page You can also add Google Analytics to your website in order to track and review the traffic that your site is getting! Getting Started Customizing your website starts with accessing Manage My Website under the Communication tab from your Office in Motion. This will take you to the administration page for your co-branded website. Adding Content to Your Media Gallery The first step in customizing your co-branded website involves adding content to your Media Gallery. You will use the navigation links on the left-hand side of your administration page to add content. Links to add and manage videos, photos/images and audio can all be accessed under Media Gallery Management. It is recommended that videos are uploaded to Vimeo in order to properly display on your site. See the resources section of this guide for more information on setting up a Vimeo account. Banner photos should be sized to 966 x 546 pixels Audio files should not exceed 5 minutes in length. Adding a Success Story TSFL Home Office offers a number of great pre-formatted success stories that you can display on your site. You can also add your own and/or a Client s success story. The administration area of your co-branded site provides a simple template for entering all the Success Story details as well as Before & After pictures. Customizing Your Landing Page You can select videos, banner photos and Success Stories to appear in the Media Gallery area at the top of your /explore page. Choose from Home Office provided media or from your own! The default number of items for the Media Gallery is 7 items. It is highly recommended that you choose at least 7 items when you customize your page. Adding Google Analytics to Your Site Google Analytics can provide you with powerful information about how people are visiting your co-branded website. 2 Co-Branded Website Admin Area Media added through: My Videos My Photos (banner photos) My Success Stories And managed through Landing Page Management will appear in the Media Gallery area of the /explore page. Co-Branded Website /explore Page Media selected under Landing Page Management are featured in the Media Gallery at the top of the page. Items appear in a looping rotation. Thumbnail images of seven items at a time can be seen below the featured item. In order to view any one item, a visitor simply clicks to select it from the featured area or from the thumbnail images. 3 Media Gallery Management Media content such as videos, images and audio is added and managed in a similar way under the Media Gallery Management section. As an example, let s take a look at adding a video. Start by clicking Add Playlist under Media Gallery Management > My Videos. A Video Playlist is a group of videos, similar to a photo album. Enter a title and description for your Video Playlist. Click the Create Video Playlist button to create your Playlist. Tip: You will find a link at the top of the Playlist creation area where you can access Compliance Tips for your Video Playlist and uploaded videos. Checking these guidelines will help ensure your videos can be reviewed and approved quickly by the Compliance Team. Your next step is to paste in the URL for a video. When you upload the video to your Vimeo account, the URL to use here will be generated. Check the resources section of this guide for information on creating a Vimeo account. You must check the box confirming that you accept the terms and conditions related to custom content. You can click the link to read the terms and conditions in detail. Finally, click the Upload Now button to save the link to your video. Remember: Your video will not be posted right away. The Compliance Team will review your video and make it available once it has been approved. You can look to see if your video has been approved by viewing Manage Playlists under Media Gallery Management > My Videos. Approved videos will appear in this area. 4 Success Stories Management Success stories your own or your Clients can be added by using the Story template. The template is accessed by clicking Add Story under Success Stories Management > My Success Stories. As with other custom content upload areas, there is a link to view Compliance Tips to help ensure your Success Story is approved. The Success Stories created by Home Office will give you an example of what to include in the Title and Story sections. The Level category is for organization purposes; it allows you to select the weight loss range where the Story will be listed. As with other content areas, you will need to agree with the terms and conditions and click Submit Story. Remember: Your Story will not appear until it has been reviewed and approved by the Compliance Team. Landing Page Management The Landing Page management area will allow you to select and change the order of items that appear in the Media Gallery on your /explore page. Access Manage Landing Page under Landing Page Management > My Landing Page. Use the check boxes to select or deselect the items you wish to appear. You can also change the order of items by dragging and dropping them. Activate drag & drop by hovering over the area to the left of the check box on a particular item. Remember: Items that have not been approved by the Compliance Team will not appear in the list of content. Once an item is approved and released by Compliance, it will be added to this area. 5 Reminders The main page of your co-branded website is most useful for existing Clients The /explore page of your co-branded website is most useful for prospecting and potential Clients Remember all custom content must be reviewed and approved by the Compliance Team in order to be available for viewing on the public portion of your site For best practices, we recommend selecting at least 7 items for the Media Gallery on your /explore page Media limits for your co-branded website: Photo Banners Photos Videos Audio (5 min. clips) Success Stories 5 images 20 images 10 recordings 5 recordings 10 stories Resources Setting up a Vimeo account in order to host the videos you will display on your co-branded website Click HERE for a short video tutorial.
