1 REGULATION Asian Qualifying Tournament On Greco-roman, Freestyle and Female wrestling March 2016, Astana (Kazakhstan) 1. General Information 1.1 United World Wrestling (UWW) entrusted the Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation with the organization of an Asian Qualifying Tournament to the XXXI Summer Olympic Games on Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Women wrestling (hereinafter - the tournament). 1.2 The tournament will be held according to the UWW Rules and Regulations. 1.3 Licenses in each weight category for three wrestling styles will be drawn to participate in the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro The tournament will take place from 18 to 20 March 2016 in Astana, Kazakhstan. 2. Date & Venue 2.1 The tournament will take place at Sports Complex Daulet from 18 to 20 March 2016 at the following address: 6/3 Kabanbay Batyr Street, Astana, Kazakhstan. 2.2 The wrestling hall has a capacity of 2700 seats for spectators, athletes, coaches, officials, referees, journalists and other necessary facilities. 2.3 The tournament Program is enclosed. 3. Participation 3.1 The tournament is open to all wrestlers of Asian countries whose National Federations are members of UWW. 3.2 Only wrestlers of the continent concerned whose NF took part in the 2016 Continental Championships will be able to participate in the Continental Qualification tournament with the same number of wrestler per style. Wrestlers who qualified quota places for their NOC at the World Championship will not have the right to take part in the Continental qualification tournaments of this 2nd phase. The NFs will

2 not be able to send other wrestlers in the weight categories in which they already have a qualified quota place. The NOCs/NFs will not be able to participate with more wrestlers than the number who took part in the 2016 Continental Championships. 3.3 For athletes who obtained a change of sporting nationality and wish to attend the Asian Olympic Games qualifier, the Olympic Charter is in force, which means that an athlete who has obtained a new sporting nationality may participate provided : - she/he is a national of the country he/she will represent and - at least three years have passed since she/he last represented his/her former country in Olympic Games, continental or regional Games, regional, continental or world Championships. If an athlete wishes to take part in that competition and does not meet the 2 above mentioned criteria, his/her National Federation will have, via its National Olympic Committee, to contact the IOC for a final decision. 3.4The composition of official delegation will be drawn up according to the table below provided by UWW: FREESTYLE WRESTLING WOMEN S WRESTLING GRECO-ROMAN WRESTLING Wrestlers Team leader Coaches Doctors Masseurs TOTAL Referees NF President NF Secretary General Accompanying Person In case of a participation of more than 3 athletes (all styles together) enter a minimum of 1 referee Annotation : 1. There is a minimum number of referees mentioned in the table. 2. The participating Federations can present up to 2 (two) referees of I S and I International Category. 3. All authorized referees will be accredited as the participants

Entries 4.1 Entries must be done through Athena system. 4.2 Preliminary entries till January 18, Final entries till February 18, Visa applications must be sent to Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation till January 10, Officials 5.1 Only I S and I International Category referees may officiate in the competition. 5.2 Each referee must present his valid UWW license for the 2016 year. 5.3 Wearing the official UWW uniform for referees is obligatory. 6. Technical conditions 6.1 The tournament will be held according to the UWW Rules and Regulations. 6.2 Maximum of 2 (two) I S or I International Category referees are allowed to officiate under the same financial conditions as wrestlers of each country. Countries that do not have I S or I International Category referees can participate without referees. 6.3 The tournament will be conducted in 6 (six) weight categories in Grecoroman, Freestyle and Female wrestling: - GR: 59, 66, 75, 85, 98, 130 kg - FS: 57, 65, 74, 86, 97, 125 kg - FW: 48, 53, 58, 63, 69, 75 kg 6.4 Each wrestler has to pass a medical examination in his country three days prior to departure and the result should be specified in the nominal entries. 6.5 Each wrestler must undergo a medical examination one (1) hour before weigh-in according to the competition schedule. 6.6 Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation and Organizing Committee will assure the first aid to all participants during the competition if necessary. All participants must be insured against accidents, injuries, etc.

Awards 7.1 The winners will be provided with medals and diplomas for each weight category as follows: - 1 st place - gold medal, diploma - 2 nd place - silver medal, diploma - 3 rd place - bronze medal, diploma - 3 rd place - bronze medal, diploma - 5 th place - diploma - 6 th pace - diploma 7.2 All participants of Asian Qualifying Tournament will receive participation certificates. 8. Official Ceremonies 8.1 Each participating team must be present at the opening and closing ceremonies. 8.2 Flags of the winners will be hoisted during the award ceremony. 8.3 National anthem of the competition winner will be played in his honor. 8.4 Representatives of all teams should provide the Organizing committee with a 1.20m x 1.80m Flag and National Anthem recorded on CD or USB devices. 9. Financial conditions 9.1 Accommodation fee will be 180 CHF per person per day for the official delegation according to the above mentioned table. 9.2 Additional persons apart from the delegation number mentioned above according to the table 3.3, as well as the delegations or persons staying for longer than scheduled will be charged with 200 CHF per person per day. 9.3 Entry fee for the competition will be 100 CHF per person. 9.4 Delegation leaders must pay financial obligations upon arrival of the delegation and meet all accreditation and other requirements. 9.5 Travels expenses of participating teams from their countries to Astana and back will be covered by sending organizations. 9.6 Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation will bear expenses for local transportations, accommodation, meals for teams and UWW representatives, rent of the sport complex.

Journalists 10.1 Accreditation forms for journalists are enclosed herewith and must be returned to Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation and United World Wrestling before February 10, Journalists will have a press center at their disposal during the competition. Working hours of the press center from 08:00 to 20:00. Accommodation and food arrangement for journalists must be made by the journalists themselves The accreditation of all categories of press will be done through UWW`s accreditation system ATHENA No digital video cameras will be accepted in the competition hall without these requirements being followed. 11. Accommodation, Meals and Transport 11.1 The Organizing Committee will provide transport from/to the airport to/from the hotel in case if National Federations send their travel details in advance Shuttle busses from/to accommodation place to/from competition hall will be provided to the teams by the Organizing Committee Accommodation for participants is enclosed in the specific information of this Regulation Meals with a calorific value according to the UWW Rules will be served to wrestlers, coaches, referees and officials in their residential hotels All delegations must make transport arrangements from their country to the organizing city at their account Delegation leaders will be responsible for all members of their delegation during their stay. 12. Medical assistance 12.1 Official doctor appointed by UWW, if necessary, will be able to get help of a qualified ambulance at the competition. He will manage all medical issues during the competition and be authorized to diagnose and treat injuries, as well as express his opinion about the ability or inability of a participant to continue his/her participation in the competition.

Security issues 13.1 Sports event will held in sporting facilities that meet the requirements of relevant legal regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and aimed to ensure public security and safety of participants and spectators. 14. Anti-doping control 14.1 All wrestlers must present themselves for anti-doping tests according to the rules of the World Anti-Doping Association (hereinafter WADA). All athletes must comply with the rules of the WADA Anti-Doping Code. In case of violation of the WADA Anti-Doping Code, refusal or failure to appear for the test he/she (wrestler) will be sanctioned according to the rules of the WADA Anti-Doping Code (to complete disqualification of the athlete).
