2 Mountain Lodges of Peru invites you on a cultural exploration of the Urubamba Valley, the celebrated Sacred Valley of the Incas, and the spectacular archaeological site of Machu Picchu, combined with activities in the less visited and uncrowded Lares region north of Cusco, noted for its rural atmosphere, traditional weavers attired in colorful dress, and roving herds of alpacas and llamas an authentic slice of Peruvian life. RATES PROGRAMS RATES 5 DAYS & 4 NIGHTS US$ 2, DAYS & 6 NIGHTS US$ 2, These programs are not available in January and February due to heavy rainy season Rates per person in US dollars WHAT IS INCLUDED? All transportation services mentioned in the programs. Daily activities a-la-carte (Daily choice of hikes, soft adventure or cultural activities). Entrance fees to tourist and archeological sites (Includes one day entrance to Machu Picchu and a permit to entry Huayna Picchu). 4 or 6 nights (According to the program) of accommodation in lodges/ hotels. All Meals (Except breakfast on day 1 and dinner on the last day of the program). Guides services (Excluding moments in the program which are labeled on your own). All gratuities (Excluding guides). SINGLE OCCUPANCY Requested single room: 25% supplement of the per person rates. Single willing to share: Supplement does not apply. CHILDREN Children until 12 years old will be granted a 20% discount of the official rate depending on the program, when sharing the room with the parent (Maximum two children per room). Does not apply in a single room. In case children stay in a single room the full adult rate and single supplement will apply. 2

3 RESERVATIONS At time of reservation we require the following: departure date, full names, passport numbers, nationalities, and dates of birth of all participants. A reservation is usually granted a 48 hours hold until a deposit is paid and confirmed. If a deposit is not made during this time frame, MLP may release the space to serve another request. However existing reservations on hold will be contacted before to be released. Full guest information to be handed in 90 days prior to departure date. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT A non-refundable deposit of US$ per person is required at time of booking. Full payment is required 60 days departure date. Additional travel services purchased through MLP may have different payment and cancellation terms. Please inquire your Travel Specialist for detailed information on this. CANCELLATIONS In the event of a guest s cancellation MLP requires notification of cancellations in writing, by or fax and the following cancellation fees apply: - Up to 60 days prior to trip start date: US$ is not refundable days prior to trip start date: 50% of the total trip cost days prior to trip start date: 100% of the total trip cost. The transfer fee is due when confirming the future departure date. Transfers are only valid until the end of the following year depending on availability (for example: if a guest cancels in 2016, the guest must travel on a departure date by December 2017). If there is an increase in the rates from one year to the next, the guest is responsible for assuming the difference, in addition to the transfer fee. 3

4 TRAVEL INSURANCE The Cultural Route is an Adventure Travel Activity which takes place in remote locations and at certain times at high altitudes. As such, it contains a certain level of risk. In order to ensure a safe experience for every guest, we kindly request that every guest presents valid proof of insurance coverage as a minimum for Medical Emergency Treatment and Evacuation. Please note that some insurance policies exclude Adventure Travel Activities or similar from the coverage, so please be careful when assessing and/ or purchasing your insurance policy and please make sure that the insurance policy includes Adventure Travel Activities or similar. DEFINITION OF VALID PROOF OF INSURANCE Mountain Lodges of Peru requires presentation of the following information at least 60 days prior to trip start date: Name of Insurance Company and Name of Specific Policy (if applicable) Coverage registration number or code 24hr emergency telephone numbers provided by the insurance company Mountain Lodges of Peru (MLP) partners with an insurance company called BUPA GLOBAL TRAVEL a member of the BUPA Group to offer insurance coverage for Medical Emergency Treatment and Evacuation, including Adventure Travel Activities. Upon your request, MLP may purchase this insurance coverage ON YOUR BEHALF from the mentioned supplier at a rate of US$8 per person per day. The full terms of coverage of the mentioned policy can be found at: In the event that a guest has not presented valid proof of insurance to MLP at least 30 days prior to the trip start date, MLP will provide the aforementioned insurance policy at the rate of US$8 per person per day, for the duration of the itinerary purchased through MLP.
