Tablet o Step 2: Configure your CINcompass User Account o Step 3: Add CINcompass Events to your Mobile Device Quick Tip o Favorite Contacts CINcompass mobile sync allows you to synchronize your Contacts and Events to your mobile device. You can also add and edit events on your mobile devices and automatically populate your CINcompass calendar. This reduces multiple event creation by only entering it once through your mobile device. As a pre-requisite to setting up CINcompass to sync with your mobile device, please make sure you have a User account set up in CINcompass. To confirm, please contact your firm administrator or call

2 Getting Started This simple process is a one-time setup that will enable you to begin using CINcompass mobile sync. NOTE: these instructions may not be accurate for all Android devices. STEP 1a: Configure your settings on your Android Mobile Device 1. On the Home Screen tap the Menu button 2. Select Settings 3. Tap Accounts

3 4. Tap Add Account 5. Enter the following fields Address: Enter (do not use your address) Password: Enter the Password that you currently use to log into CINcompass Click Next

4 6. Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 7. Enter the following fields Domain\Username : cincompass\[your CINcompass user name] Server (wifi): activesync.cincompass.com If using a phone, make sure SSL is checked Port 80 Click the Next button

5 cincompass\[cincompass username here] activesync.cincompass.com 8. Click OK for the Remote Security Administration 9. Verify the following fields: Verify Sync Contacts from this account is checked Verify Sync Calendar from this account is checked 10. Tap on Activate

6 STEP 1b: Configure your settings on your Android tablet: 1. On the Home Screen select Settings 2. Tap Add Account

7 3. Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 4. Enter the following fields Address use (do not use your address) Password - Enter your full password you use to sign into CINcompass Click Next sync@cincompass.com

8 5. Tap Edit Details 6. Enter the following fields Domain\Username cincompass\[your CINcompass username] Server (wifi) activesync.cincompass.com Domain cincompass If using a tablet, make sure SSL is checked Port 80 (if available) Click Next cincompass\[cincompass username here] activesync.cincompass.com

9 7. Tap OK Remote security administration 8. Tap Done

10 STEP 2: Configure your User Account Settings in CINcompass 1. Log into CINcompass 2. Click the drop-down next to your Username 3. Select User Account Settings 4. Click on the Profile tab 5. Select Sync Settings

11 Outbound Contacts If you want to sync CINcompass contacts to your device, click the arrow for Yes. Read the instructions to the right to determine which Contacts you want to sync: 1. Select Favorites to sync Contacts designated as Favorite 1 2. Select the Types of contacts to sync 3. Select the office Location(s) for which the selected contacts Belong To Click Test these settings to test how many contacts you would be syncing to your device. Click Save to keep your settings. 1 You can choose to designate a CINcompass Contact as a Favorite. This will allow you to synchronize those Favorite(s) to your mobile device despite other filters you have selected.

12 For this example, we are testing how many: 1. Favorites 2. Clients who Belong To the Seattle Location 3. Click Save when complete

13 Outbound Calendar If you want to sync calendars, click the arrow for Yes. Read the instructions to the right to determine which calendars you want to sync: 1. Decide if you want to sync your: Personal Calendar Location Calendar(s) 2. Decide if you want to Merge your calendars (see description) 3. After creating new events in your mobile device, use this dropdown to select the calendar location you want your new events to be placed in CINcompass 4. Click Save when complete 2 2 Please note: Currently, if a user invites additional contacts to an Event that have not been originally pulled into the mobile devices through the Sync Settings page, then the device will not display the attendee s name, , etc. The mobile devices have to be able to match those corresponding fields to contacts already pulled into them.

14 STEP 3: Add a new CINcompass Event from your Mobile Device 1. Locate your Android calendar 2. Double-click on the time slot of the day 3. Click the Add button 4. Enter the details of the Event 5. Click on your Name to select the your CINcompass calendar

15 6. Select your CINcompass calendar 5. Log into your CINcompass account to view the new Event under Upcoming Events

16 Quick Tip: Favorite Contacts You can choose to designate a CINcompass Contact as a Favorite. This will allow you to synchronize those Favorite(s) to your mobile device despite other filters you have selected. To designate someone as a Favorite: 1. On the Dashboard, select the Contacts tab under the Main Toolbar 2. Search for the Contacts name 3. Click the next to Contacts name
