Cattle will enter from the North. The first fence turn will be to the right. REQUIRED HEALTH DOCUMENTS To comply with state animal health regulations, all out of state horses will require a negative Coggins (Equine Infectious Anemia) dated within 6 months and a health certificate dated within 30 days. All out of state horses must have their health certificates and Coggins papers checked as you check into the show office. MOVE IN - Horses may move in Friday, March 25 th, starting at 8am. South Point Arena is a secured facility and has very specific procedures and hours for accepting horses for move in. Horses will be accepted 8am-8pm daily unless you schedule otherwise. Call Carrie or Allison for exceptions to this schedule and we will arrange to meet you. MOVE OUT Move out must be completed by 10am, Sunday, April 3 rd. SHOW OFFICE HOURS The show office will be open 8am 5pm on move in days. The show office will open at 7am on show days and close after the last class ends. The show office will not be open on Sunday, April 3. RV HOOK UPS There are no RV hook up spaces on the show grounds. The closest RV Park (2 miles) is Oasis Las Vegas, 2711 W Windmill Ln, Las Vegas. 3 TRAILER PARKING Once you have unloaded, you will be given instructions on trailer parking on the grounds. PAYMENT INFORMATION - You will need to bring one open check or credit card for Horse Show Office when checking in. In the event that no charges are incurred during the event, your check will be returned to you. Any practice pen charges will be added to your show tab, separate payment will no longer be taken at the practice pen. STALLS - Stalls will cost $255 and need to be ordered by March 2nd. Stalls do include 3 bags of shavings (included in the price). Any stalls ordered after March 2nd are not guaranteed that they will be stalled with their requested party. The stalls are 10 x10 galvanized steel stalls. They have solid walls between them. The floor of the stall is concrete. Panels in the stalls may not be removed. A stall list will be posted online on the NRCHA website approximately one week before move in. Please verify your stall count is correct and contact the office with any corrections. This online stall chart is not final until it is listed as the final chart (usually one day before move in). Cancelled stalls need to be verified by the NRCHA office for a refund. When you check in to the show office on arrival, notify the office of any cancelled stalls. You will be charged for any stalls you did not have the office verify. Please do not bring refrigerators into the stall area. DAY FEES If you haul in and are working out of your trailer and don t need a stall, there is a day fee of $25 per day, per horse. BEDDING Bedding is not included in the stall fee and must be purchased from the South Point Arena Office located in the stall area. (No outside bedding allowed). If you wish to pre-order bedding to expedite move-in, please contact the NRCHA office before March 2nd. The cost for shavings is $10.00/bag. Separate payment is needed for the bedding office. Their hours are 8am 5pm daily. HAY Alfalfa and Timothy hay is for sale through the South Point Arena store located in the stall barn. You may bring in outside hay. Prices are TBD. STALL MAT RENTAL 4 x 6 Mats can be rented from the facility at $40/stall. This provides 2 mats that cover a stall nicely. If you wish to pre-order mats to expedite move-in, please contact the NRCHA office before March 2nd. PRACTICE PEN A schedule will be posted at the show. It will be run as a Priority Works pen the same day the class shows. Other works can be worked in after the priority works for that set have been completed. You will no longer need separate payment for the practice pen. WARM UP ARENAS There is one arena connected to the show arena that will have open riding UNTIL MIDNIGHT each day and open at 6am each day. The new arena at the facility will be used as a practice pen. The show arena will have open riding time when classes have ended for the day and be open until MIDNIGHT with controlled practice. It will reopen in the morning at 5am and close at approximately 6am or 7am prior to classes starting. ALL ARENAS WILL CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT. ENTRY INFORMATION All entries and stall reservations are due March 2, All entries must be paid in full to be included in the draw. This is an in-office deadline. You can mail, fax or your completed entries to the NRCHA office. We will not process your entry without a form of payment! You have several options for payment: You may include a check with your entry form for the full amount.

4 You may include credit card information for us to charge your card. Please be aware that there is a 3.5% processing fee on credit cards. You MUST include all information requested in order for us to process your card. You may include credit card information to process your entry but then replace that with a check once you arrive at the grounds. Please be aware that if you scratch your entry, we reserve the right to charge your card for any fees due. An entry verification list will be posted on the NRCHA website approximately one week before the draw. Please be sure to check your entries. LATE FEES - Late fees will be charged to any entry received after the due date. Late fees are not charged to add classes or divisions to the original entry that was on time, for that horse. DRAW DATE The draw date for the NRCHA Stakes prelims and bridle spectaculars will be March 17, Horse Show classes are drawn after noon the day before the class shows. DOGS Absolutely no dogs are allowed in the South Point Arena. SIGNS, POSTERS & FLIERS Cork boards are available in the facility. No tape may be used on painted surfaces. Please use the non-stick command strips or sticky tack that does not damage walls. Thumb tacks are acceptable. Do not post to walls or doors in the facility! VIDEO: Immediately following your run, you are able to view your run on the replay monitor at no charge. The reply monitor will be located close to the point where you exit the pen. Owners and riders may also visit Equine Promotion s booth at any time to watch video of the run at no charge. If you wish to watch a run of another horse that you do not own or are not the rider, there will be a small charge to do so. Equine Promotion s booth is located on the concourse of the arena. Videos may be purchased and available to you via YouTube, a USB drive and/or downloaded to your mobile device. PHOTOS: Award photos will be taken in the arena. There will be a schedule for photos available at the show. LAE awards will be presented once that division has ended. Horse show classes will be awarded following the set after that horse show class has concluded. You are welcome to bring your awards as well as friends and family for group photos. 5% of photo sales from the horse show are kicked back to the NRCHA Youth Association. Classes offered at the NRCHA Stakes NRCHA Stakes LAE Information, Rules and Guidelines This is a derby for 4 and 5 year olds to be shown in a snaffle or hackamore. Horses may not switch headgear within the competition. In the Non Pro Limited Derby, 6 year olds may be shown in a snaffle only. Horses must have been sired by an NRCHA Stallion Stakes sire and that foal crop year must be enrolled as well. Open entries are automatically entered into all Open divisions for which they are eligible (Intermediate Open, Limited Open, Level One Limited Open). Open Money will be paid out 72% Open, 15% Intermediate Open, 8% Limited Open, 5% Level One Limited Open. 75% of entry fee goes to Pay Out. The $5K Novice Horse class will run concurrent with the Open division, but those entering the $5K Novice Horse class do not need to enter the Open Division. There are no finals for Level One Ltd Open or Novice Horse.

5 Non Pro entries are automatically entered into all Non Pro divisions for which they are eligible (Intermediate Non Pro and Novice Non Pro only). Non Pro Money will be paid out 65% Non Pro, 25% Int. Non Pro, 10% Nov. Non Pro. 70% of entry fee goes to Pay Out. Those entering the $7500 Amateur Division do NOT need to be entered in the Non Pro Division. The Non Pro Limited division follows the same rules as the Horse Show Non Pro Limited eligibility (see Rule ). There will be no finals for the Amateur or Non Pro Limited. The NRCHA Rule Book contains the rules for Limited Aged Events and the NRCHA Stakes and will be followed as printed. Both owner and rider must be current 2016 NRCHA members. There will be a $390 Finals fee for those making the Open Division Finals. Horses that make it back in multiple divisions will only pay one finals fee if concurrent. Entries are not valid without payment in full. Scratches for Limited Age Event entries made before the entry deadline receive a full refund. Limited Age Event scratches after the entry deadline but before the draw date will be refunded the cattle, video and NRCHA fees. The entry fee will be retained by the NRCHA. Limited Age Event scratches after the draw date will only be refunded the video and NRCHA fees. Bridle Spectacular Information, Rules and Guidelines Draw date for the Herd Work will be March 17, Bridle Spectacular scratches made before the Herd Work draw date receive a full refund. Bridle Spectacular scratches after the Herd Work draw date will only be refunded the video and NRCHA fees. NRCHA Rules and Regulations will apply in all other instances.
