dieťaťa, 36, 2001, č. 3, s SMIECH A HUMOR V OBDOBÍ DETSTVA A MLADOSTI LUCIA RUŽOVÁ Katedra psychológie Filozofickej fakulty Univerzity Komenského, Bratislava LAUGHTER AND HUMOR IN CHILDHOOD AND YOUTH Abstract: The study deals with the issue of laughter and humor and delves into their function during the period of childhood and youth. A brief reference is aimed at particular theories that explain humor, however, emphasis is laid on ontogenesis, within which specific aspects of humor and laughter are dealt with in detail in individual developmental periods. Thus, the process of how a reflex smile of a newborn becomes a socially conditioned smile that creates first humor situations is followed. These situations are an indispensable part in everyday life during childhood, which can also be seen in their interconnection with a child play. At preschool and school age, these are mostly social events that stimulate child's laughter. Humor keeps this character at later age, too, but has particular specifics during the period of adolescence. Key words: humor and laughter, theory of humor, development of humor and laughter, childhood, adolescence

dieťaťa, 36, 2001, č. 3, s NEVYUŽÍVÁNÍ ČI ODMÍTÁNÍ SOCIÁLNÍ OPORY JIŘÍ MAREŠ Lékařská fakulta Univerzity Karlovy, Hradec Králové NON-UTILIZATION OR REJECTION OF SOCIAL SUPPORT Abstract: Most studies of social support implicitly assume that social support is a pleasant and welcomed thing for the recipient. However, the overview study puts emphasis on cases when proposed social support disturbs its recipient, or is refused by him. It systematically maps four problem areas: differences in perception and evaluation of assistance indispensability on provider's and recipient's part; problems pertaining to a person as a social support provider; problems related to a group as a social support provider; and, finally, problems related to own individual's seeking or not seeking of social support. The author exploits the study of E. A. Skinner and J. C Wellborn on coping with stress in children. Their diagnostics method is expanded with observation that different person's reaction to proposed social support is tied with person's perception and interpretation of the grounds of his/her endangering. Either we deal with endangering of person's "self", or with endangering of person by his/her social climate. Both cases end up with endangering of person's needs. Key words: distress, coping, social support, discordance between provider and recipient, diagnostics of needs

dieťaťa, 36, 2001, č. 3, s VIERA SLOVENSKEJ MLÁDEŽE V SPRAVODLIVÝ SVET JOZEF DŽUKA Katedra psychológie Filozofickej fakulty Prešovskej univerzity, Prešov A SLOVAK YOUTH'S BELIEF IN A JUST WORLD Abstract: A belief in a just world was examined on the sample of Slovak unemployed graduates of senior high schools and their studying peers, as well as on the sample of Slovak and German grammar school pupils. This belief was equal in the unemployed and in pupils attending these secondary schools; however, the general belief in a just world was statistically significantly higher in Slovak adolescents than in German adolescents. The presented findings are in harmony with researches of authors who confirmed that persons need (motive) to believe that the world they live in is just, and that this belief in justice has an important adapting function for them, therefore, they are motivated to protect it. In adolescents who were unemployed for the period of more than 11 months belief in a just world was not lower than measure of this belief in peers who continued, after completing secondary school, university studies. Key words: belief in just world, unemployment of youth, intercultural context

dieťaťa, 36, 2001, č. 3, s VÝVINOVÉ TENDENCIE A HODNOTENIE SPOLOČNÉHO VZDELÁVANIA ZDRAVÝCH A POSTIHNUTÝCH ŽIAKOV DRUHÉHO STUPŇA ZÁKLADNEJ ŠKOLY IVAN UČEŇ Výskumný ústav detskej psychológie a patopsychológie, Bratislava DEVELOPMENTAL TENDENCIES AND EVALUATION OF THE INCLUSIVE EDUCATION OF HEALTHY AND DISABLED PUPILS OF 2 nd DEGREE OF BASIC SCHOOL Abstract: The research only partially confirmed the development of pupils' personal attitude toward integration and the development of semantic framework of the conception of inclusive education. More interpersonal differences in attitudes and in evaluation of the conception of inclusive education of healthy and disabled children were found. The analysis of the research data confirmed the dependence of attitudes and evaluation of integration on social climate in integrated classes, mostly in term of absence of mutual help and friendship. The collected data allow defining of the focus and content of teacher's social intervention. Key words: social climate, inclusive education, disabled children, intact children

dieťaťa, 36, 2001, č. 3, s SÚČASNÉ PROBLÉMY A PERSPEKTÍVY INTEGROVANÉHO (INKLUZÍVNEHO) VZDELÁVANIA ŽIAKOV SO ŠPECIÁLNYMI VÝCHOVNO-VZDELÁVACÍMI POTREBAMI V BEŽNÝCH ŠKOLÁCH ALICA VANČOVÁ Katedra pedagogiky mentálne postihnutých, Pedagogická fakulta UK, Bratislava CURRENT PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES OF INTEGRATED (INCLUSIVE) EDUCATION OF PUPILS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS IN REGULAR SCHOOLS Abstract: The contribution is focused on brief evaluation of to date positive and negative experience with integrated education of pupils with disabilities and disorders in regular school in Slovakia. Presented are the current state in solving of integrated education, legislative framework of this process and perspectives. Key words: disability, disorder, special educational needs, integrated (inclusive) education, school integration, social integration
