Since 2006 the number of self-published titles has increased at a minimum of 287 percent each year.

2 If you are like most of the self-published authors using Kindle you are using the same promotional strategies as the other 235,000 titles currently available -- relaying heavily on SEO, social media marketing or PPC but still not getting sales. This means all of the money and time you ve invested in your book becomes essentially white noise as your title blends with the hundreds of thousands of other Kindle titles. Without the ability to drive a large number of sales, your Kindle books you can never get the number of sales necessary to become a Bestseller. But despite the fact that most Kindle authors fail to get a significant number of profits, there are a few authors specifically Bestsellers that earn a full-time income. Then, I decided to do something strange, because everything that I was trying before clearly wasn't working. I had to do something radically different, right? I mean since my books weren't making a lot of sales clearly I was doing something wrong or missing a piece of the equation. But most authors only produce Kindle books on topics that interest them not on topics the Amazon marketplace is interested in reading. Think about it this way... Before a McDonalds invest the time and money of building a new restaurant (if you can call it that) they first make sure they have a viable location. Thousands of dollars are spent just to be where there s an adequate amount of traffic passing by the location of the new restaurant before any construction begins. Kindle Publishers should do the same. Before typing a single word on paper be sure that you choose a niche that is profitable! Bestseller Secret 2: You Must Get A Large Influx Of Sales In A Short Period Of Time This is going to solve the biggest problem that most publishers have which is, where do I start. Think about it... Do you know what it takes to make a Kindle

9 Bestseller? Unfortunately most Kindle authors don't... until now! Now we like to call this the bestselling secret that no one ever told you. Because most Kindle authors that are Bestsellers know this to be true but they never stress how important it is to their students. Now it s your job as Kindle Publishers to get a large number of initial sales. Once this happens, Amazon says "hey, this book has gotten a lot of sales it must be relevant to this category lets start showing it more" -- aka send YOU MORE TRAFFIC! Once that happens, then your book gets even more sales and keeps moving up the Bestseller list. The most important part to the entire process is creating that initial influx in sales when your book is released. If you can do this, then your book falls into what we refer to as the "NYT Bestseller Perpetual Sales Funnel"! This means your book starts getting sales on autopilot the same way a book on the New York Times Bestseller list. Bestseller Secret #3: High Converting Kindle Books Now that you know you need to get a lot of sales in a short period of time lets quickly cover some of the most important factors to having a high converting Kindle book If you can do this right, not only will it bring on more sales but you can force Amazon to keep sending you sales on an ongoing basis. Amazon then does all of your marketing for you so you never have to send one tweet or one Facebook post!

10 There are 2 components to your Kindle book that you must focus on and test: -Titles & Covers - Book sales copy First, you need to create attractive titles and covers that pull in the readers. The person who created the old saying don't judge a book by its cover clearly never tried to sell a book on Kindle. If your title is no good then it won t catch the visitor s attention and if you have an amateurish cover the visitors won t see the value in your book. Next is your book sales copy... yes your Kindle book has sales copy. Your book sales copy consists of your book description and the early parts of your book. Like the sales copy that you see on traditional sales letter it must be written in a specific way to get people to purchase your book. The buying process is the same for buying a $597 training course and buying a $2.99 Kindle book. By studying other successful Kindle books we have found a template any Kindle Publisher can use that can drastically increase conversions! Higher conversions means more sales!
