5 Aker Solutions MMO Maintenance, modifications and operations represent a growing market for Aker Solutions as existing offshore and land-based installations mature. Our major front-end engineering and design (Feed) and modification projects in the MMO area include safety and drilling upgrades, tie-ins, low-pressure production upgrades, water injection upgrades, swivel replacements and extended life time upgrades. A total of around Aker Solutions employees and several hundred contractors are working on MMO projects at any time. MMO operations are located in Brunei, Aberdeen, St.Johns, Bergen, Egersund, Kristiansund, Ålesund, Sandnesjøen, Tromsø, Stavanger and Trondheim.
