THE WORLD'S BEST ENERGY IS FREE AND YELLOW A solar thermal solution provides fixed low energy costs with minimal risk for many years into the future. That is why there is solid growth in establishing large-scale solar heating. There are so many advantages that it Full Lower heat Stabilize heat price is mainly about price finding the best possible solar-heating solution combination flexibility REDUCE THE PRICE OF HEATING SIGNIFICANTLY STABILISE THE PRICE OF YOUR HEATING REDUCE GLOBAL WARMING
Easy forecast for the next 25 years: Future energy price Low and stable Primary energy factor CO2 production Zero None
kwh/m² SOLAR THERMAL IS THE MOST LAND SAVING RENEWABLE ENERGY 160 Annual energy yield in kwh per m² of land Solar thermal PV Wind power Biomass Bioethanol Taken from Per Alex Sørensen, Planenergi: Experience with solar thermal in Denmark, Jan. 2014
Solar for district heating started In 1988 the first largescale solar plant for district heating was started by Saltum district heating. The system is still in operation. Saltum (1988), 700 kw, 1000m² 5
And grew to MW-systems in the past 10 years Solar heating is combined with natural gas-fired combined heat and power for the first time in Brædstrup in Because of the positive results the system was more Brædstrup than 2 (2011), doubled in MW, 10,604m² Brædstrup 1 (2007), 5.6 MW, 8,012m² 6
Brædstrup was for the first time combining Solar & CHP Demand and grid data: households, people (in 2008) MWh heat production MWh heat sales ~70/35 C operation temp. of the grid 25 km main line length (26 km connection line) Conventional plant: Gas-CHP engines 7.3 & 8.2 MW Backup-Gas-Boilers 10.5 & 13.5 MW Solar share: : 8,012 m², 5.6 MW 7.6% of heat demand covered since 2011: 10,604 m², 7.4 MW % of heat demand covered Here are 149m² in one row (max. 200m²) 23,000 m² needed land
For that an optimized operation strategy for CHP combination was developed
