Come with us and explore historical Berlin and today s modern city: on the Berlin Wall walking tour along the former border, on the street art tour of the city s facades, and on a journey of discovery on the Museum Island. On day trips you ll get to know the surrounding region of Berlin, for example Postdam. This course is suitable for you if you have been working for some time in Germany or are about to begin a residency to train as a specialist at a German hospital. With our German course you will enhance your communication and language skills while developing your intercultural competency for working in the medical field. You will learn new medical and pharmaceutical vocabulary terms, German colloquial expressions for diseases and organs, various forms of clinical documentation, and the correct style for writing physician s reports. We practice patient conversations with you, for example, in taking down medical histories and examination situations.
