1 THE TRUTH ABOUT HOLY SPIRIT When considering the current condition of the world we live in, and the fact that here in the United States we have a church on every corner, and with approximately 83% of Americans professing to be Christians - one might ask, where is the power that existed in the lives of the believers, or disciples we read about in the Bible? Where is that power today? In fact, this is just one of the reasons why many today are turned off by religion, especially Christianity. It defies reason to believe that all of the evil, injustice, and chaos in America; is generated by only 13% of the country s population. A major part of the problem is that most who profess to be Christians (the word Christian means Christ like), have forgotten, or perhaps never understood that the most important element of being a follower of The Christ, or having a relationship with THE ALL MIGHTY, is learning enough about HIM through HIS Son and HIS Spokes People, to manifest HIS character. Manifesting the characteristics of THE ALL MIGHTY enables us to enhance, inspire, and help others, and ourselves. However, in order to accomplish this extraordinary goal, we need to gain an accurate understanding of how HE enables human beings to accomplish what HE expects of us. The key to this understanding begins with having true discernment and understanding regarding what most English versions of the Bible refer to as Holy Spirit. When it comes to the subject of The Holy Spirit there are two major schools of thought. It s up to any seeker of truth to discern which, if either is true. One of the missions of this Ministry is to provide viable knowledge, and facts that one can examine, ponder and petition (pray) over in order to discern what THE ALL MIGHTY would have you know and understand.

2 Understanding the truth about The Holy Spirit is extremely important. According to most, if not all versions of the Bible, having the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary in order to be a part of THE ALL MIGHTY, HIS Son, HIS purpose, and the ability to live according to that purpose successfully. Act 19:1 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples 2 and asked them, Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? They answered, No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit. 3 So Paul asked, Then what baptism did you receive? John s baptism, they replied. 4 Paul said, John s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus. 5 On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. 7There were about twelve men in all. Of course, there are many controversial subjects pertaining to the Bible. However, it s not crucial to resolve many of those controversies, because so many of these subjects do not affect - in any manner - one s freedom, or relationship with THE ALL MIGHTY. In fact, this ministry does not approach those types of subjects. Fresh Light is dedicated to addressing only subjects, or issues that are vital to one s ability to successfully live for THE ALL MIGHTY according to what s been taught by HIS SON. Therefore, this ministry avoids any subjects of controversy that does not meet the above criteria. 2

3 Nevertheless, the subject of the Holy Spirit is not one of such controversies. It is the firm belief of this Ministry, that the Holy Spirit is one subject that all true converts must have an accurate understanding of if they are to live a power-filled, and successful life as disciples of The Christ. This is because living for THE ALL MIGHTY, on this earth within a mortal body, requires that you have a degree of power and ability that can only be obtained from THE ALL MIGHTY through HIS Son. Therefore, not understanding the truth regarding Holy Spirit can be likened to having cancer and receiving a beautiful Plant as a gift. For years others tell you that the mere presence of the Plant will purge the air around you. But, after having the cancer spread throughout your entire body to the point of no recovery, you learn that the leaves of the Plant you were given only cures cancer when eaten. In other words, though it is accessible, The Holy Spirit can only benefit us if we use it as instructed by THE WORD of THE ALL MIGHTY. According to the letter sent to the disciples in Rome by Shaul (better known as Saul or Paul) the disciple taught, in what s known as Romans 8:9, that one must have the Holy Spirit in order to be victorious over forces that work to defeat one s ability to follow The Christ. It states as follows: But, you are not in the flesh (subject to the unwholesome yearnings of your body), but in the spirit, if the Spirit of THE ALL MIGHTY truly dwells within you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of the Christ, they do not belong to Him. This treatise will present to you the most widely taught doctrine regarding Holy Spirit, vs., that which is taught by this Ministry. We know and understand that no ministry or minister can force one to accept the truth. In fact, THE ALL MIGHTY HIMSELF does not operate in that manner. However; HE does make sure that those who claim to want the truth are exposed to it. 3

4 But, whether they will accept it or not, will be determined by how important the truth is to the individual receiving it. If traveling the path of least resistance, or fitting in with the majority is more important than knowing the truth, then the truth can easily be rejected. Nevertheless, the choice one makes never negates truth that is absolute. 4

5 According To Popular Doctrine A Person or Entity The Holy Spirit is a spiritual being He (the Holy Spirit) is a part of the GOD Head The Holy Spirit is: As Believed By This Ministry Based on The Bible Power The Holy Spirit is power given by THE ALL MIGHTY to HIS children to enable them to live in this world righteously and to discern the truth. He can fill all when they accept the truth regarding The Christ He enables us to live righteously and to understand the WORD of the ALL MIGHTY. It was He who was used to pregnant Miryam (Mary). He has the ability to be within all true believers to comfort and enable them regarding whatever THE ALL MIGHTY might need them to do. Most versions use the words He and Ghost when making reference of The Holy Spirit [Yehochanan ] (better known as John 14:26]. The Christ told His disciples to wait for POWER from on high [Lucanus, better known as Luke 24:49]. The Christ gave them temporary power by breathing on them and said receive Holy Spirit [Yehochanan (better known as John ) 20:22]. Holy Spirit or Enabling Power from THE ALL MIGHTY may be received in the same manner in which we receive Negative Ions, thus having a similar but more powerful effect (more on this latter). The word He used regarding Holy Spirit is a personification typically used in the Greek language, just as it is often done in other languages such as Spanish. The word Spirit used in the New Testament means breath or breeze in the Greek, which is also the Greek definition of the same word translated in English versions as Ghost. Power can be distributed any and everywhere, a person or entity cannot. 5

6 This Ministry believes that The WORD of THE ALL MIGHTY teaches that the Holy Spirit is enabling power from on high, it is therefore Holy because it comes from THE ALL MIGHTY, and translated or referred to as Spirit, because it cannot be seen. Based on what has been preserved of HIS WORD, i.e., what is now called The Bible this ministry finds it reasonable to accept that just as THE ALL MIGHTY has set up nature to fill the air we breathe with what Scientist refer to as Negative Ions - electrically charged Atoms that have a revitalizing effect on the body and it s brain - HE is able to also disperse enabling power directly to HIS children to revitalize and enable them as needed. In fact, we think you might find what has been discovered about Negative Ions generated from thunder storms, very interesting, and somewhat enlightening. Scientist have obtained knowledge regarding a type of Atom they call: Negative Ions. Atoms, in essence are a fundamental piece of anything that can be touched physically. Negative Ions are (according to Scientist) electrically charged atoms. These atoms, when supplied to the environment in levels of complete and natural balance, bring about very positive effects on the human body and brain. These effects consist of feelings of tranquility, ease of tension, increased energy, sharper mental functioning and improved voluntary movement performance. The above is shared in this treatise in order to point out the fact that; these Negative Ions are received by the body through the process of breathing. Though the substance or distribution of Enabling Power Holy Spirit, may still be a bit of a mystery, HIS written WORD does provide some light on the subject. 6

7 However, this light could be easily overlooked by anyone paying more attention to doctrine, than what s been actually written or translated. According to what has been preserved in HIS written WORD, we know that each of HIS children receive their portion of Enabling Power, Holy Spirit according to their need, and purpose. We also know that all HIS children are required to come through a spiritual womb via the immersion of their bodies (i.e., Baptism). Perhaps when we take our first breath, as we come up from the water, we receive the fullness of our portion. We also know that in Yehochanan (better known as John ) he shares how The Christ breathed on the disciples, and told them to receive Holy Spirit (Enabling Power). We believe that it was only a small portion received on that day, and thus the need for the dispensation given during a day of Pentecost. It is the belief of this ministry that the spectacular and visible manner in which THE AMIGHTY distributed HIS enabling power on that day of Pentecost, was due to HIS wish to make the event memorable and noteworthy. For more information about this event, or that day of Pentecost see [Lucanus 2 nd Treatise (better known as Acts 2:1] However, we know that accounts from both the writings before (i.e. Old Testament), and after The Christ (i.e. New Testament) show individuals receiving Enabling Power without any visible evidence other than the power they displayed. In fact, The Christ slightly addresses this point on the night that a teacher of the YisraEl by the name of Natsechani (better known as Nicodemus ) came to Him with questions. 7

8 The Christ shares with him how the wind blows where it chooses and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from nor where it goes. Thus is everyone who begins again, through immersion and the receiving of Enabling Power (Holy Spirit) from THE ALL MIGHTY, see [Yehochanan (better known as John ) 3:1-9]. Therefore, based on the above, and other references from HIS WORD as a whole, it is not difficult for members of this ministry to accept and believe that THE ALL MIGHTY has a process in place where HIS obedient children receive Enabling Power through the process of breathing. Again, we find it easier to believe that Holy Spirit is the Enabling Power which true believers need in order to live within human bodies according to what HIS WORD tells us HE requires, so that they can grow and flourish into mature children of THE ALL MIGHTY. The doctrine or belief that HE made one entity that somehow can manage to be in everyone and dispersed to all believer as needed; contradicts what has been preserved of HIS written WORD as a whole. One of the reasons the above school of thought is impossible for this ministry to accept is based on the knowledge HIS preserved WORD gives us regarding the abilities and role of the Kerubim (better known as Angels or Cherubim ). THE WORD teaches us that THE ALL MIGHTY assigns a guardian/kerub to each of HIS children. We also know that the Kerubim were made by THE ALL MIGHTY and that they are innumerable. We are taught that the type of body that The Christ now has, is like that of what the Kerubim have. It s also the same type of body that will be received by those who belong to THE ALL MIGHTY, once they pass from their mortal bodies. 8

9 In addition, Shaul (better known as "Saul") in his first letter to the disciples who were living in Corinth in his day, tells us of the different types of bodies THE ALL MIGHTY has made, see [1 Corinthians 15:39-50] He tells us of terrestrial bodies and celestial bodies. He then goes on to talk about mortal and immortal bodies. It s also important to point out how throughout THE WORD - when addressing the issue of Entities within the spiritual realm - the only bodies mentioned are those made for the Kerubim, and the little mention of THE ALL MIGHTY S body. For we know, based on THE WORD, that humans were made in HIS image and THE WORD mentions, in different areas, HIS backside, head, hand, etc. The WORD shares with us THE ALL MIGHTY S system in which HE sends HIS Kerubim as HIS workers to take care of whatever HE wishes, and/or to speak on HIS behalf, or in HIS stead. The WORD shows us that as THE RULER OF THE UNIVERSE HE is not running around doing HIS own bidding, but that HE delegates. This concept should not be hard to conceive since even mortals in positions of power or authority do the same. We share the above to pose this question: if THE ALL MIGHTY SOVEREIGN of the Universe saw it necessary to make legion upon legion of Kerubim to perform various works and duties for the sake of HIS children, purpose and SOVERIGNTY, how is it that this one entity, thought to be THE HOLY SPIRIT, can be everywhere and within anybody at any time? We believe that anyone truly seeking the truth, who has room within to truly see and hear what the ALL MIGHTY would have us to know and understand, will be given the answer to this and many other questions, especially questions regarding the doctrine founded by the Roman Catholics called the Trinity. 9
