If you re looking to pursue a leadership role in public service, including government or nonprofit organizations, this degree will help you achieve your goal. 4 Apply Your Knowledge Once you ve completed all of your required MPA coursework, you ll finish your degree with a three credit capstone. In the capstone, you ll have the opportunity to demonstrate what you ve learned by taking on different roles and making decisions for Excelsiorville, our simulated city in crisis. Expand Your Network In addition to getting to know faculty with substantial experience in government and nonprofit settings, you ll be able to expand your professional network by making lifelong connections with adults around the world who share your passion to make a difference. Transfer More Credits If you ve already earned graduate credits at another school that map directly to MPA courses, you may be able to save time and money by transferring in up to 33 of your 36 required credits. Also, GRE or GMAT exams are not required for admission.
