Williams Mark Green (deputy town clerk) and Elaine Pawsey (senior admin assistant) 15/146/PH Public Forum There were no items in the public forum. 15/147/PH Apologies Cllr Mrs A. Williams Work commitments Cllr J. Broom - illness 15/148/PH Minutes Proposed by Cllr B. Larcombe and seconded by Cllr S Miller, the minutes of the meeting held on 8 March 2016 were ADOPTEDwith the following amendment. Minute No 15/140/PH - Planning applications considered, Item 4, the Town Council s comments should read No objection. Re: Minute No. 15/143/PH Item 11 - Application No. WD/D/15/ Cllr S. Williams said that he was still concerned that this decision may have been made by a West Dorset officer without reference to committee; despite the decision being at odds with the strong views of the local council. Cllr S. Williams asked that the write to West Dorset District Council (WDDC) for clarification about how they dealt with such applications and what general policies might apply in such circumstances. 15/149/PH Disclosable Pecuniary Interests There were no disclosable pecuniary interests declared at this meeting. 15/150/PH Dispensations PH-05/04/16-1 -
2 There was no grant of dispensations made by the town clerk in relation to the business of this meeting. 15/151/PH Matters arising from the minutes of the previous meeting held on19 February 2016 There were no matters arising at this meeting 15/152/PH Update Report Cllr B. Larcombe asked if the local plan could be adopted before going to consultation. The deputy town clerk said that they could review it before it goes to consultation. Cllr B. Larcome asked when the local plan was adopted. The deputy town clerk said that it had been adopted earlier in the year. Cllr. S Miller was concerned with the deterioration of the temporary road surface in Uplyme Road. The deputy town clerk said that he would write to Highways and ask them to look at the problem again. Cllr S Larcombe asked if anything could be done with the blue vehicle that is parked on Uplyme Road. This vehicle did have a police notice on its windscreen but it had been there for some time now. The deputy town clerk said that he would contact the police. 15/153/PH Planning Applications Planning applications were considered in accordance with details circulated, a copy of which is attached to the minutes of this meeting. The chairman introduced each planning application and invited members of the public to speak. Re: Application WD/d/15/002369: Mr David Edwards neighbour, spoke at the meeting and said that he wanted to give the application his support. The applicants spoke giving full details of the improvements that had been made to the amended application. They said that they had attempted to address all of the previous concerns of the committee.
