Tortuguero, where giant green turtles come to lay their eggs between the months of September and October for thousands of years with unbelievable regularity. The country has an incomparable nature throughout the year and a temperature between 23 and 24 degrees Celsius in the Centran Valley. It also has several still active volcanoes like the majestic Arenal Vocano, the magnificent Irazú Volcano and other interesting volcanoes like the Poas and the Rincón de la Vieja. The endless and wild beaches of the Pacific, extending from the border with Panama to the border with Nicaragua. A whole unrivaled sunny world to dicover. San José Costa Rica Marathon is celebrated on December the 6th. Additionally to the race, a half marathon, 10k and mini marathon (4-8 Km) are organized. 2 TOUR PROGRAM 3th December (Thursday) MADRID / SAN JOSE Presentation at the Madrid Barajas Airport at 09.30h. Procedures for boarding and billing for exit, at 11:45 a.m., in Iberia flight to San Jose de Costa Rica. Arrival in San Jose at 3:50 p.m. (local time). Baggage claim and support by personnel of our organization. Transfer by private bus to HOTEL CROWN PLAZA SAN JOSE CAROBICI 4 ****. Reception and room layout. Free dinner (not included.) Accommodation. 4th December (Friday) SAN JOSE Breakfast and day trip. During the ascent to Poas Volcano we will stop to taste some local products and then continue our trip through field of ferns, flowers and strawberries. In the volcano we will take our time to observe the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles. Then we will hike on a trail to the beautiful Botos Lagoon and at the same time we will learn about the different ecosystems in the park. Then we will visit Doka Estate, the tour takes place in a wonderful coffee plantation. There, we will learn about the oldest coffee production techniques used by experts to develop the best coffees in Costa Rica. Located along the fertile slopes of the Poas Volcano, Doka Estate has grown and roasted coffee awarded for three generations. This tour allows visitors to gain a seep knowledge of how coffee is grown, harvested as well as its processing and production both in Costa Rica and around the world. Meal in the coffee plantation In the afternoon we will visit La Paz Waterfall Garden, which is an ecological attraction that has the famous waterfall of La Paz, a rescue center and a private wildlife reserve with over 100 species of animals. We will also visit the hummingbird garden, the serpentarium, the butterfly garde, the frog pond and the aviary. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 2

3 5th december (Saturday) SAN JOSE Free day in which we will have time to pick up the dorsal and enjoy the Runner s fair. Lunch and dinner on behalf of clients (not included). Overnight stay at the hotel. 6th December (Sunday) SAN JOSE The big day: The Marahon San José Costa Rica Lunch and dinner on behalf of clients (not included). Overnight stay at the hotel. 7th December (Monday) SAN JOSE / SARAPIQUI Rafting on the Sarapiqui River This tour departs from the facilities of Pozo Azul and runs 13 Km. to Chilamate. It has an average gradient of 1.2% and can be run all year. To participate in this tour you do not need experience, it is a very safe tour with several accesses to the highway on the way tour and is in constant communication with the base. Farewell dinner in a typical restaurant Overnight stay at the hotel. 8th December (Tuesday) SAN JOSE / NIGHT ON BOARD Free morning to enjoy the hotel facilities or making last visits and shopping. Meal on behalf of the customers. At agreed time, transfer to San Jose airport.
