Vocational Edcation and Training HISTORY Astralian Pacific College was established in 1993 initially offering English Langage Intensive Corses for Overseas Stdents (ELICOS) at the Kent Street camps in Sydney. In 1999, APC opened its Clarence Street camps and offered Bsiness corses in Sydney. In 2003, APC won the Astralian-Latin America Bsiness Concil Astrade Langage Edcation Award. In 2006, Manly Beach camps opened. In 2008, Bondi Jnction camps opened and expanded in In 2010, APC Qeen Street Brisbane camps opened. In 2014, APC Albert Street Brisbane camps opened. In 2014, APC Sydney celebrated 20 years in International Edcation. In 2015, APC Lonsdale Street Melborne camps opened. Crrently APC has more than 5,000 stdents stdying in or programs each year. FACILITIES AND RESOURCES Astralian Pacific College has campses located in Sydney CBD, Manly, Bondi Jnction, Brisbane CBD and Melborne CBD. Each camps has modern, well-eqipped classrooms as well as compter rooms and stdent common areas which incorporate stdent kitchen facilities. Astralian Pacific College has arrangements with local libraries for stdents to se their facilities and resorces to assist them in completing their assignments.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT LIVING IN BRISBANE Brisbane, the capital of Qeensland known as the Snshine State is a dynamic, cosmopolitan, safe and friendly city, once voted Astralia s most livable city. It is srronded by some of the most poplar sightseeing places in Astralia: the Gold & Snshine Coasts, beatifl sand islands, zoos and theme parks. The city is also renowned as the edcation centre of Qeensland as it is home to nine niversities. CLIMATE Brisbane has a comfortable sbtropical climate. The average maximm daily temperatre throghot the year is arond 25 degrees, with an average of 300 days of snshine per year. COST OF LIVING, TRANSPORTATION Living costs are comparatively lower than Sydney s and pblic transport is affordable and accessible. The amazing weather, excellent qality of life on offer and the friendly people make Brisbane the perfect Astralian city in which to live and stdy. POPULATION Brisbane has a poplation of arond 2 million. The greater Brisbane area is spread ot over more than 4,500 sqare kilometres. LEARNING ENVIRONMENT LIVING IN SYDNEY Sydney is recognised as a safe, clean city with fresh air and nmeros trees, parks and green spaces. It also has stnning beaty inclding wonderfl srfing beaches where yo can walk and swim in safety. If sport appeals to yo, there is a great variety from which to choose. Astralians love sport and either participate in their favorite sport or watch it reglarly. Within walking distance from APC are many cltral and historical places which form the very heart of the city: the Rocks area rich in history from the colonial past, the Opera Hose, Darling Harbor, the State Library, Chinatown and some of the world s finest shopping centres. Sydney has it all and it is all within a five minte train ride or walking distance from the College. CLIMATE Sydney s climate is temperate with 300 days a year of snshine on average. The wettest months are March to May, the coldest month is Jly and the hottest months are Janary and Febrary. COST OF LIVING The cost of living in Sydney is comparable to the USA, Western Erope and the United Kingdom. The average living cost for international stdents is approximately AU$18,800 to AU$22,000 per year. This cost does not inclde tition fees. TRANSPORTATION APC Sydney campses are conveniently located close to major transport links. POPULATION Sydney has a poplation of more than 4.6 million. Or Melborne camps in Lonsdale Street is close to all pblic transport and is jst a short walk to the main shopping complexes and all the major torist venes in Melborne CBD. A perfect place to stay while taking advantage of all that Melborne has to offer. LIVING IN MELBOURNE Melborne, the second biggest city in Astralia, is a safe, friendly and cosmopolitan city. It is sometimes called the cltral capital of Astralia as it has a lot to offer in terms of theatre, msic and the arts. Melborne has a lot of great places to shop as well as nmeros restarants and its vibrant atmosphere make it a great choice for stdy and travel. Melborne is very welldesigned and it is really easy get arond de to its systematic layot. Within an hor s travel from the city there are beaches, wineries and other attractions. CLIMATE Melborne has a moderate climate and is well known for its changeable weather conditions. It is a little colder than other mainland Astralian state capital cities in the winter with only a small variation in winter temperatres. Melborne smmers are notable for occasional days of extreme heat. COST OF LIVING, TRANSPORTATION Melborne is the second most expensive city in Astralia after Sydney and the cost of living is comparable to the USA, Western Erope and the UK. The transport system in Melborne is very organised. Melborne pblic transport incldes bses, trains and trams. The Myki card, which is sed for all pblic transport, is relatively inexpensive compared to other Astralian capital cities. POPULATION The poplation of Melborne is arond 4.3 million.
