4 1. Glssary 1.1. Website Cmpnents Pages: Pages are each page within yur website. Page Prperties: This is where the facts abut yur Page is set. Prperties and Advanced prperties include Name, Title, Descriptin, Start Date, End Date,URL Name, URLs, Keywrds, Cache Refresh, Frce SSL, Frce Lgin, Language. Yu can set the prperties f a page while creating a new page r yu can edit them later. Page Layut: Page Layut defines the way the cntent n yur page wuld be arranged. Page Template: Page template defines the styling f yur page. Frnt Page: This is the first page, r hme page, f yur website. Cntent: Cntent is the text, images, vide, menus, menu buttns, lists, utilities, and every revisin and versin f all these elements yu create and use. Cntent Prperties: This is where the facts abut yur Cntent is set. Prperties include Name, Descriptin, Categry, Start Date, End Date, Language, Exclude Frm Search. Cntent Template: Cntent Templates fr yur page, menu r cntent will define the way yur cntent will display based n yur web site's templates. Fr example, d yu need a menu t appear alng the tp f ne page and alng the left-hand side f anther. OrchestraCMS prvides different kinds f cntent templates. Cntent Template Grups: Cntent Template Grup are listed when yu are managing r creating Cntent Types. Each term in the list refers t a grup that cntains a number f Cntent Templates that are available t that specific Grup. Cntent Type: A Cntent Type is a way t categrize yur cntent and determine which Cntent Templates are available fr that type. Cre Cntent Type: Cre Cntent Types are default Cntent Types prvided in OrchestraCMS and cannt be deleted. The Cre Cntent Types in OrchestraCMS are: Carusel: Includes templates fr rtating vide and images in a banner. 5 Frm: Includes templates fr creating simple r multiple bject data input frms n yur website that can ppulate any cre and custm Salesfrce CRM bjects which can be made available t a public guest user List (Dynamic):Includes a template fr creating dynamic lists that publish cntent based n set parameters (like mst recently published). A dynamic list is a list whse cntent changes ver time. An example f a dynamic list wuld be a list f the week's Tp 10 mvies. Every week, the list will change as mvies cme and g. List (Fixed): Includes a template fr creating static lists. This list will stay fixed, but any cntent beynd its Publish End Date will autmatically disappear. Media: Includes templates fr images, vides, headers and flash cntent and ther cntent with the apprpriate Cntent Templates that have been setup by yur develper based n yur website's design. Prtal: Includes templates fr creating Prtal elements like Lgin Frm, Change Passwrd Frm, Frgt Passwrd Frm, Registratin Frm Sitemap: Sitemap is a hierarchical view f yur pages replicating the infrmatin architecture f yur website. Search: Includes templates fr Search bxes and Results. This template can be used t create a Search Textbx t easily search cntent n yur website. Text: Includes templates fr creating text based cntent Utility: Utilities, as the name implies, allw yu t d things such as add custm HTML t yur page, insert spaces between cntent items n a page, insert a date, r autmatically add syndicated cntent t yur web page Custm Cntent Type: It is recmmended that yu create yur wn custm cntent type befre users begin t start OrchestraCMS. The Cntent Template will define the lk and feel f yur custm cntent type. Fr example, yu may want t create a Custm Cntent Type called News, add all f the List templates available s yur users can display cntent as list items Menu : Publish menus that d what yu want, hrizntally r vertically r smewhere in between, with the apprpriate Cntent Templates that have been setup by yur develper based n yur website's design Menu Item: Determine hw the menu items will publish with the apprpriate Cntent Templates that have been setup by yur develper based n yur website's design. Sitemap: Site Map is a hierarchical view f pages replicating the infrmatin architecture f yur website 1.2. Actin Items Stantive Technlgies Grup Inc. 5

6 Save When creating r managing Pages, Menus, Cntent r Cntent Types, make sure yu click Save. Yu cannt Preview cntent unless yu have saved them. Save and Clse When creating r managing Pages, Menus, Cntent r Cntent Types if yu click Save and Clse yur wrk will save and clse the current tab. This is beneficial when updating cntent and then returning t a Page Preview and clicking Refresh t see yur changes. It als minimizes the number f tabs pen at nce. Publish When yu've finished creating r editing a Page, Menu, Cntent r Site Map click Publish t make yur cntent live n yur site. Send fr Apprval Depending n yur prfile permissin, the Publish ptin wuld change t Send fr Apprval. Click n Send fr Apprval t send yur pages, menus, cntent fr apprval based n the prcess defined in yur salesfrce. Preview When creating r managing pages, click n Preview t view hw yur page wuld be rendered n yur Live Site. New Versin If yu need t make majr changes, create a New Versin f yur Page, Menu r Cntent. Yu'll see the new Versin number in the newly pened tab. New Revisin If yu need t make a small tweak r additin t existing cntent, create a New Revisin. Yu'll see the New Revisin number in the newly pened tab. Clne Stantive Technlgies Grup Inc. 6

7 A Clne is an exact cpy f yur Page, cntent r Menu. Yu might want t clne a page if yu nly want t change ne piece f cntent n the page. Creating a clne means yu dn't have t rebuild ther page items such as the menus, media, fter, etc. Delete Only cntent that has NOT been published can be deleted. This feature f OrchestraCMS ensures website histry preservatin and auditability. Hide frm Preview If yu dn't want in-prgress cntent t shw up in a Page Preview, select Hide frm Preview. When yu Preview the page, yu'll see an accurate view f what yur page will lk like if yu publish nly the cmpleted cntent. Tags Tags allw yu t persnally and publicly tag Pages, Cntent and Menus in OrchestraCMS. They can als be used t search and srt pages, cntent and menus. Tags must be enabled befre being used.
