4 REVIEW OF ASSESSMENT RESULTS Assessment results and multiple measures help identify the correct course placement, so you can be a successful student at Fullerton College. English (Writing) or English as a Second Language (ESL) Reading Mathematics

5 MULTIPLE MEASURES The following are examples of multiple measures: High school transcripts (example: geometry, foreign language) Other college transcripts Additional supporting documents Note: Student may retest after 90 days if not satisfied with assessment results. Test scores are valid for two years.

6 ASSESSMENT RESULTS Chemistry Proficiency Test available to place directly into CHEM 111AF without completing the prerequisite course, CHEM 107 F. Student must also have completed or assessed above MATH 040 F. The test can be taken only once. Visit to schedule.

7 READING COURSE SEQUENCE Studies have shown that students who read at college level achieve a higher grade point average than students who do not. It is highly recommended that students take the reading course they place into, especially when they place below college level reading.

11 COUNSELING CENTER SERVICES Individual counseling appointments available at the Counseling Center. Bring relevant documents (college and/or high school transcripts, advanced placement test results). Call (714) to schedule an appointment. General Information (GI) counseling at the Counseling Center (5-10 minutes for quick questions and prerequisite clearances). No appointment needed. Online counseling for general questions which do not require review of documents No appointment needed.

18 TIPS AND TO DO LIST Refer to the schedule of classes online at or purchase a Schedule of Classes in the bookstore Locate your registration appointment in your mygateway account, it is also ed to you by Admissions and Records Pay your registration fees or utilize the Board of Governor s Fee Waiver (state financial aid) program, if eligible, when registering for courses to avoid being dropped from classes for lack of payment Attend the first class meeting to avoid being dropped for lack of attendance. It is the student s responsibility to drop courses they do not attend Prepare for parking challenges the first weeks of the semester Take advantage of services/programs (see flyer)
