1 CEAPAT OPEN WEEK - 5G ACCESSIBILITY, ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND INCLUSIVE DESIGN FOR 5 GENERATIONS (15th - 19th of June of 2015, Madrid) CEAPAT is the Spanish National Reference Centre for Personal Autonomy and Technical Aids. Its aim is to contribute to making the rights of persons with disabilities and older persons effective, through integral accessibility, assistive products and technologies and design for all. CEAPAT hosts an annual Open Doors Week event, which will take place at CEAPAT from June 15-19, 2015 in Madrid. During this five-day event, each day will concentrate on a generation and a specific theme including (program is still tentative): 1. Ethics and care (>85 years); 2. Handicap friendly cities (70-85 years - architecture, transport, etc.); 3. Employment (30-70 years Security, workplace, best practices); 4. Education/training (12-30 years support products and technology, video games, driver license, etc.; 5. Care within diversity (0-12 years Safe transport, apps, games, technology). The event will include a mix of presentations, round table discussions and stakeholder workshops/matchmaking events between policy-makers, regional actors, companies and organizations. There will be simultaneous translation in English Spanish and transmission through video streaming. CEAPAT 5G will be opened by the Minister of Health, Social Services and Equality. CEAPAT has invited the Nordic Countries in Spain to participate in the years Open Doors Eek as they consider the Nordic Model of great interest for the audience attending the conference (enterprises, citizens, public administration, associations and foundations, university and the whole society).
