Based on your requirements, we see to the optimal implementation of your further education program, from the initial selection of lecturers to the organization of the closing ceremony. CORE COMPENTENCIES The core competencies of the WU Executive Academy are derived from those of the Vienna University of Economics and Business and therefore lie in the areas of leadership, strategy, finance, marketing, innovation and sustainability. Furthermore, we follow an interdisciplinary approach with aspects from sociology, psychology and philosophy. INTERNATIONAL FACULTY Our faculty consists of three groups from which you can choose: faculty from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, lecturers from our international partner universities (including University of Minnesota, Stanford University, St. Petersburg University, etc.) as well as experienced practitioners with an academic background. MIX OF METHODS We recommend and offer a mix of methods for the executive education field, consisting of theoretical and practical input, discussions, group work, presentations, business cases, blended learning, business simulations and transfer projects. Our modules can be designed as conventional modules or as admissible MBA modules with a pre-core-post-module structure. LANGUAGE German or English all our programs can be held in either language or in a combination of both. LOCATION Vienna or worldwide determine the location at which your program should take place. This particularly applies to its department for Executive Education, which develops programs ranging from the transfer of cutting-edge management tools to the personal interaction with the latest research results. Executives and managers will start to see things from a different angle at the so-called Special Workshops WU, which are designed and implemented in cooperation with external partners. The focus lies on encountering and engaging with unique circumstances, breaking familiar thought and behavior patterns as well as questioning what appears to be self-evident. These special workshops are designed and tailored according to the needs of the respective company, supported by experienced specialists and embedded in extensive further education programs and modules.
