By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements below. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. 1. Eligibility. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 48 CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE AT LEAST AGE 18 (OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, WHICHEVER IS OLDER). IF YOU DO NOT MEET ANY OF THESE REQUIREMENTS, OR ANY OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE, AND ISLAND PRESS ( IP OR "SPONSOR") RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO AWARD PRIZES TO YOU. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by IP in the manner and format designated below. Directors, officers and employees of IP and any of its respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win any prizes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited by law. 2. Disclaimer. IP, JASON MARK, all participating sponsors, and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties") will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Sweepstakes disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of IP or by non-authorized human intervention; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. 3. Sweepstakes Period. The Sweepstakes begins January 19, 2016 at 10:00:01 AM Eastern Time and ends March 18, 2016 at 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time (the "Sweepstakes Period"). All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period (and meet other requirements in these Official Rules) to be eligible to win a prize. IP s or IP's designee's computer or other time-keeping device is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes. 4. How to Enter IslandPress.org Method of Entry. To enter, you must: 1. All requested information must be provided for your entry to be valid. Entries become the property of IP and will not be returned. Entries and entrants may be subject to verification by IP in its sole discretion. Limit one entry per person per 24-hour period during the Sweepstakes Period. By entering the Sweepstakes, you consent to being placed on an mailing list for promotional and other materials. 6. Identity of Entrant. In the event of a dispute about the identity of the entrant, entries made online will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the address submitted at time of entry. An "authorized account holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an e- mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. The potential winner may be required to provide IP with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the address associated with the winning entry. 7. Selection and Notification of Winner. Winners will be determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries, to be held at IP Headquarters (2000 M Street NW, Washington, DC 20036) on or about March 23, Potential winners will be notified by phone or on or about March 24, To claim a prize, each winner should follow the instructions contained in his or her notification. 8. Prize. One winner will be selected as follows: 1. Prize winner will receive the following prize package: A Trip for the Prize winner and one guest to participate in a 5 day excursion detailed at Trip includes roundtrip coach airfare for two from the continental United States to the Phoenix, AZ airport, hotel accommodations for two prior to the hike start, and transportation Odds of winning a prize depend on number of eligible entries received. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. All prizes will be awarded. If the prize is returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within 10 days after delivery of notification, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner selected by a second random drawing from all remaining eligible entries. Prizes are not transferable, are not eligible for cash value substitution,

3 and may not be used with any other promotional discount. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that IP reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value for any prize. Limit one prize per person. In the event that production, printing, digital or programming failures, or other reasons or any errors cause more than the stated number of prizes to be available or claimed, IP reserves the right to award only the indicated number of prize(s) (if previously not awarded), by a random drawing among all legitimate eligible claimants for prize(s). All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Conditions of Trip Prizes. Dates of travel or participation for the prizes are subject to Jason Mark s scheduled itinerary. IP or its designee will select the airline used for the Trip. Each winner's guest must be at least 18 years of age prior to winner's guest taking the Trip, unless (a) winner is the parent or legal guardian of the guest. Winner and guest must book their Trip by April 15, 2016 and complete the Trip by May 31, Winner and guest must travel on the same Trip. Winner and guest must sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, as well as any other releases and waivers related to the applicable Trip that IP or the Trip provider requires before taking such Trip, including without limitation any releases regarding permission to use their respective names and likenesses. Winner and guest must meet the health and fitness requirements outlined below and any other IP and Jason Mark prerequisites for the applicable Trip. Failure to complete all forms provided by IP/Jason Mark accurately and in a timely manner may result in disqualification from the Trip. IP requires all of its Trip participants to be prepared physically, technically, and psychologically for all programs, and IP reserves the right to disqualify the winner or guest from the scheduled Trip at any time for any health or safety reason in IP's/Jason Mark s sole discretion. For the Trip prize, winner and guest are responsible for all meals, equipment and all other expenses that winner and guest incur in connection with the applicable Trip other than those expressly described in the prize description above (Prizes), including, but not limited to, certain beverages, certain in-country travel costs, optional taxis, side trips and all applicable passport, visa, and entry/exit fees. For the Trip prizes, each winner and guest agree to allow IP and its designees to interview, videotape, photograph and otherwise record winner and guest and their experiences ("Recordings") while on the applicable Trip, and, in addition to and together with the permission granted in Section 9 below, to use the Recordings and derivative works thereof, in whole or in part, for advertising,

4 social media advertising, Web advertising, on IP Fieldnotes, signage, direct mail and for any other promotional or advertising purpose or any instructional/educational purpose without further permission or compensation to winner or guest. Winner and guest acknowledge that Sponsor will own full right and title to the Recordings, including, without limitation, the copyright in and to such Recordings. Trip Health and Fitness Requirements: The trip has the following physical requirements ratings. Activity Level: 3 - Moderate Entrants must have the following physical abilities: For Moderate Activity Level trips: For outdoor novices and above. Activity: 6-8 hours most days Distances: Hike up to 5 miles most days Surfaces: undulated terrain Elevation change: up to 1,000 ft/day 9. General Release. By entering the Sweepstakes, you release IP and all Released Parties from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, or use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. 10. Use of Winner's Name, Likeness, etc. Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Sweepstakes constitutes permission to use each winner's name, likeness, persona, hometown, and/or prize information in all media now known or later devised throughout the universe in perpetuity for all purposes IP deems appropriate--including, without limitation, in/for the Recordings and for any advertising, promotional and publicity purposes--without further permission or compensation. As a condition of being awarded any prize, except where prohibited by law, winner may (in IP's sole discretion) be required to execute a written consent, confirming IP's right to use

5 such winner's name, likeness, persona, hometown, and/or prize information without further permission or compensation. 11. Affidavit and Release. As a condition of being awarded any prize, each winner may (in IP's sole discretion) be required to execute and deliver to IP a signed affidavit of eligibility, acceptance of these Official Rules, release of liability, and any other legal, regulatory, or tax-related documents required by IP in its sole discretion. 12. IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR OR ANY RELEASED PARTIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM ENTRANT'S PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF SPONSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. 16. Governing Law; Arbitration. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY BECAUSE IT REQUIRES YOU TO ARBITRATE DISPUTES INDIVIDUALLY AND PREVENTS YOU FROM SUING IN COURT OR HAVING A JURY TRIAL. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules and the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, will be determined by arbitration. The state or federal courts in Washington, DC, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any suit not subject to arbitration. You and Sponsor will (a) notify each other of any dispute within 30 days of when it arises and (b) attempt informal resolution prior to any demand for arbitration. Arbitration will be administered by JAMS (or its successor) pursuant to its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, and conducted by a single arbitrator in Washington, DC, unless the arbitrator determines differently. Except as expressly provided herein, the arbitrator has the authority to grant any remedy that would otherwise be available in court. The parties will implement the JAMS Optional Arbitration Appeal Procedure with respect to

6 any final award. The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules, including any disputes hereunder, will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the District of Columbia, U.S.A., without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles. Whether the dispute is heard in arbitration or in court, you and Sponsor will not commence against the other a class action, class arbitration, or other representative action or proceeding. 17. Miscellaneous. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of IP, which are final and binding in all respects. IP reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes or any entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond IP's control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes, or IP otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Sweepstakes as planned, in which event all prizes will be awarded via a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, IP reserves the right to amend, modify, or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time without notice. Entrants who violate these Official Rules; violate any law, rule, or regulation in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes; tamper with the operation of the Sweepstakes or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to IP, the Sweepstakes, or any other entrant (in each case as determined in IP's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Sweepstakes. IP reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Any provision of these Official Rules deemed unenforceable will be enforced to the extent permissible, and the remainder of these Official Rules will remain in effect.
