3 London Health Sciences Centre October October 1, 2009 Southwestern Ontario Project Co-Lead ( ) Western Ontario Health Knowledge Network: Collaborative initiative including The University of Western Ontario and five hospitals (teaching and community). Developed and provided e-resources to approximately 19,000 health professionals across 29 sites to enhance practice, teaching and research in inter-disciplinary context. Oversaw legal, communications and contract projects and operations; directed public relations with international vendors. The Dean of the University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry nominated this initiative for a national award in innovation. Southwestern Ontario Project Lead ( ): Southwestern Ontario Clinical Placement policy initiative in which a participative, inclusive process resulted in 6 post-secondary schools and 18 hospitals adopting a single student placement agreement to increase clinical placements for multiple health sciences and administrative students. This initiative had education policy implications provincewide in multi-disciplinary placements. Business Coordinator/Acting Director Learning Services, Communications & Public Relations Managed all aspects of Organizational Development, Learning Services and Corporate Education programs for 7500 employees from over 30 health and administrative professions. Lead teams and managed contracts toward advancements in e-learning, corporate policy and program development and internal scholarship programs. Corporate spokesperson for education events with coverage in print, radio and television including The New PL, Rogers Cable, The London Free Press, AM 980, 6XFM and several others. Oversaw business functions and daily operations in media, internal relations, special events to foster corporate and community support, confidence and respect.
