5 1. FIRE HAZARDS AD ELIMIATIO AD COTROL 1.1 Electrical Sources of Ignition Are reasonable measure taken to prevent fire of electrical origin? The ceilings have been painted with a gloss paint that will probably produce smoke if alight but providing there is early warning the occupants can escape well before any smoke makes escape difficult. If not already done so the Fire Officer, using this report as a guide should check that items currently marked can be changed to with regular testing of the alarm and emergency light system when fitted and a record kept of these tests. 13 P age

COCLUSIOS Taking into account the fire prevention measures observed at the time of this risk assessment, it is considered that the hazard from fire (likelihood of fire) at these premises is: LOW MEDIUM HIGH Taking into account the nature of the building and the occupants, as well as the fire protection and procedural arrangements observed at the time of this fire risk assessment, it is considered that the consequences for life safety in the event of fire would be: SLIGHT HARM MODERATE HARM EXTREME HARM Accordingly, it is considered that the risk to life from fire at these premises is: TRIVIAL TOLERABLE MODERATE SUBSTATIAL ITOLERABLE It is considered that the recommendations on the action plan should be implemented in order to reduce fire risk to, or maintain it at, the following level: TRIVIAL TOLERABLE Signed Surveyor. A closed fire door that has to be opened to exit/enter reduces the lift. 2 Poorly situated smoke alarm.
