All students have access to the Online Student Portal, which contains links to news, course information, professional associations and other relevant resources. Administrative support is also available, with a turnaround time of 24 hours during weekdays. If you are studying by correspondence, a trainer will answer your questions within 24 hours or less. You will also receive a comprehensive student handbook that walks you through your course. Each subject is clearly laid out, allowing you to progress as quickly as you feel comfortable. We will even help you find a massage job once you graduate. The massage industry is booming and there are no signs of it slowing. ACM provides a web-based Job Finder service for students, graduates and employers alike. Updated on a daily basis, you ll find an array of job opportunities listed, both local and international. The Job Finder is used by prospective employers to specifically target ACM graduates. 14 Study Options ACM has created faster, smarter courses, run by leading massage educators. Therefore, your learning is more effective and can be achieved in a shorter space of time. We won t be wasting your time teaching you things that you may never use in practice. You have two study options to choose from. You can study by correspondence (home study learning) or on-campus (classroom learning). You will receive identical accreditation at the end of your training irrespective of the option you choose. Both correspondence and on-campus options are exactly the same in: content assessment qualification Your decision as to whether to study by correspondence or on-campus will be based on your own needs and preferences, as well as your individual circumstances. Enrolment Options The unique, flexible ACM training system maximises the value you get from your study. It allows you to fit your learning around your life. There are three different enrolment options. Your decision will be based on which method of payment is most suitable for you. Option 1: Full Course Many students prefer to enrol in the full course option. Selecting this option has two advantages. Firstly, it allows you to receive the material for the entire course straight away. Secondly, this option provides a substantial discount. Option 2: Package The course subjects have been grouped into packages (2 subjects per package) for ease of learning and cost saving. Option 3: Subject You can choose to enrol in one subject at a time to suit your own study needs. Correspondence Studying by correspondence enables you to study at your own pace and you are not governed by a fixed timetable. Home Study subjects requiring practical study involve you completing a range of practical assessments including demonstrations, log book clinic hours, voluntary community hours and professional massage treatments. Classroom attendance at a Training Centre is required during the Massage Practice programs held during Subject 8 (Certificate Course) and Subject 16 (Diploma Course). Major practical components of the course involving face-to-face assessments are undertaken. Throughout the program your knowledge and skills will be assessed by a qualified ACM Trainer and Assessor. On Campus Studying on-campus enables you to attend classes for all the practical components of the course. When studying on-campus you are provided with a class timetable listing the dates when your attendance is required (at a Training Centre of your choice).
