In Australia, the organisation has provided practical assistance, support and friendship, and has advocated on behalf of communities since its establishment in Today, our members, volunteers and employees work together to provide a range of services, supports and programs including: material aid, referrals and linkages to other organisations, advocacy, friendship to people living with a mental illness, opportunities for young people and meals to people in need via our Soup Vans. The organisation also operates retail shops, commonly called Vinnies, that raise much needed funds to support households and communities in need. Annually, the organisation assists over half a million people.

2 PURPOSE OF ROLE This role is responsible for the development and support of technical solutions for the Society s Intranet, Extranet and other applications used to support the business. Using skills in SharePoint UI, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio and.net coding, this position will develop applications around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, business intelligence and enterprise content management. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Accountabilities Actions / results required Application Development Support, maintain and develop SharePoint solutions/applications environment; As a subject matter expert, proactively maintain and continually improve Society s ICT SharePoint environment Provide ICT team based business information and advice to the Society s staff as required As a subject matter expert, provide solution design options based on provided stakeholder requirements, in alignment with industry and vendor best practice guidelines. Assist in the design and management of SharePoint master pages, LiveTiles and UI customisation. Working independently but also as part of the wider ICT and project teams when required. Assist with requirements gathering and monitoring for projects to ensure vendors deliver the appropriate level services; Assist with vendor performance, monitoring and reporting; Assist with ongoing uplift and service improvement of existing vendors; Project Management Assist in project development, technical requirements definition and solutions development; Plan and implement software version upgrade releases; Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint sites; Identify security or other risks during general daily activity; Assist in the development, delivery, implementation and monitoring of assigned ICT projects; Assist with change management activities as required; Provide regular updates on progress against project deadlines; Adhere to the Society s processes for development and implementation of projects; Assist with the delivery of the Society s ICT services to all Departments, Conferences and stakeholders; Apply and develop industry best practice frameworks to the Society s unique environment wherever possible. This will include frameworks such as ITIL and Prince2

3 Key Accountabilities Actions / results required Application Support Provide in-house expertise and technical support to end-users on supported application-related issues: With assistance from the ICT Manager, identify, research, and resolve technical problems, working with outside vendors/technical support as needed, and document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution. Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers and vendors. Provide procurement services ensuring timely delivery and accurate accounting of all Society assets and services; Assist in the development and delivery of training for SharePoint site owners Assist in the development and delivery of training for Application owners Process Coordination Assist in the creation of libraries and lists, document metadata standards based on established guidelines; and Document day-to-day activities as requested by the ICT Manager; Document and improve procedures, being proactive in the design and implementation of efficient systems; Assist with the development and ongoing management of ICT related policies and procedures. Assist with vendor performance, monitoring and reporting; Assist with ongoing uplift and service improvement of existing vendors; Provide procurement services ensuring timely delivery and accurate accounting of all Society assets and services; Liaise with 3rd party development teams to ensure development, test and production environments are maintained in sync; People Management Act in a professional, responsive and collaborative manner towards customer and team relations; Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Society staff as well as other key stakeholders; Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. In conjunction with the various departments and project teams, work collaboratively to provide solutions fit for purpose Financial Management Ensure that expenditure is in accordance with approved budgets and delegated authority levels. Other Continually learn and develop professional technical and soft skills that are relevant to this role Responsible for all other duties as advised by the ICT Manager PERFORMANCE CRITERIA Adherence to Service Levels as per Society guidelines Delivery of key ICT projects (budget, time, quality) Consultation with vendors and team members to ensure best practice on all systems Perform all assigned duties in relation to the functional area and success criteria defined in the ICT Strategic Plan Ensure EEO, OH&S, the principles of an inclusive Society and Society Values and policies are complied with at all times

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA ESSENTIAL Experience and skills: DESIRABLE Basic understanding in the administration of Office365 Solid understanding of SharePoint Online information architecture (site collections, sites, templates, content types, metadata, security) Solid understanding and experience interpreting requirements (business analysis) and translating into a design Basic understanding of html branding and CSS Experience in migrating content to web platforms, security provisioning and content authoring, Understanding of WCM design and accessibility Web development background including ADO.NET, VB, XML, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery and Web Services experience Qualifications: Certificate IV or Tertiary Qualification in related fields Experience, skills and attributes: Advanced understanding of: o C#,.Net Frameworks and ASP.NET o System administration skills to a high competency standard Experience in: o Rich Internet Application development with flash/silverlight, Ajax and CSS o Training users up to the level of this roles responsibility o XSLT. o Form development experience with MS Infopath. o Microsoft Application Blocks. o Relational database programming skills, optimized SQL and stored procedures.

5 o IT systems and application implementations that support key business requirements; Knowledge and / or previous experience in Not-For-Profit sector; Effectively manage and prioritise competing tasks Demonstrate an understanding of any foundations or knowledge required to fulfil the scope of this role.
