The Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Your registration fee includes conference materials, a continental breakfast, refreshment breaks and lunch. Minimum and maximum numbers have been established for this conference; therefore, your pre-registration will be confirmed by . Please present your Confirmation Letter at the registration desk. It is UNM policy to charge the offerer $15.00 plus normal merchant bank fees for each returned check. All eligible UNM Faculty and Staff may enroll using a tuition remission (waiver) to cover tuition costs listed on the registration form. Properly completed, tuition remissions must accompany the registration form. Proper completion includes all required signatures. No refund or credit will be issued for non-attendance. 5 Conference Objectives: At the conclusion of this conference, the participant should be able to: 1) Describe the UNM HSC project and how it has successfully incorporated basic oral health practices into existing medical clinics. 2) Recall the history of preventive dentistry and how to integrate dental care into health systems. 3) Recognize common dental issues that present to medical clinics, such as head and neck exams including dental screenings, dental emergencies and meth mouth. 4) Describe the relationship between oral health and overall health including pregnancy, diabetes, heart disease and more.
