2 CESSNA CITATION CE-500 TYPE RATING COURSES Initial Pilot in Command Type Rating Initial Second in Command Type Rating Course introduction CITATION 500 PIC INITIAL Hummingbird Aviation offers the full Pilot in Command type rating courses specifically for the Citation CE-500. The type-rating course leads to the Pilot in Command type rating, which will then be added to your FAA Private, Commercial, or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Aircraft information The Citation CE-500 series jets marked the beginning of the largest family of corporate jets and pioneered the business jet market. This type rating covers more than 2,000 aircraft. 6 PAYMENT INFORMATION a. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required before your type rating class can be schedule. Once your deposit is received, then we will mail your training manuals/pre-study materials to your requested address, and schedule your class. We recommend that you schedule your training at least 2 weeks in advance. b. Full Payment: Full payment is due on or before your first class date. c. Payment Type: Our primary payment method is a certified bank check. For all other payment options, please contact us for details. REFUND POLICY 1. After your 50% deposit is received, and you decide not to start your training, then we will charge $ for the manuals and pre-study mterials, which will be deducted from your deposit.the remainder of your deposit will be returned. 2. If you have started your ground training (and have not yet started your flight training), and decide not to continue your ground and/or flight training, then we will refund you only 50% of your tuition less any other incurred expenses. Once you have begun your flight training, there is no refund. SCHEDULING We require 2 weeks notice to schedule your training. Our rental cars are contracted through a third-party company. Pilots under the age of 21 that wants to rent a car will have to contact us for more details. OUR LOCATION Hummingbird Aviation, LLC is located on the Modesto City County Airport Harry Sham Field in Modesto, California right in the middle of the California Central Valley, which is an ideal training airport for pilots. The Modesto Airport is a towered facility with two long paved runways. Instrument approaches to the airport includes GPS approaches, VOR/DME, Localizer, and an ILS approaches.
