2 About Brenda Armstrong Brenda Armstrong is internationally recognized for her mastery of massage as a therapeutic tool to support the health and wellbeing of the whole person, along with her enjoyment of teaching and sharing her expertise. She applies her holistic style of massage to benefit those who are physically very active as well as clients with chronic stress and painful conditions. Brenda also offers comfort and support with degenerative diseases, autoimmune disease, paralysis, burns, heart disease and more. Her 35+ year career with more than 50,000 hours of handson treatment time has allowed Brenda to help thousands of individuals from four to ninety-four years of age. Originally from Barrhead, Scotland, Brenda has established successful practices in Canada, the Caribbean and now owns A Touch of Wellness in the heart of Pinellas County, Tampa Bay since moving to Florida in Her diverse clientele includes health-care providers, musicians, dancers, athletes, corporate workers, tradespeople, teenagers, caregivers, law enforcement officers, seniors, expectant mothers, stay-at-home parents, others. As a certified aromatherapist, Brenda formulated, produced and retailed her own line of synthetic-free essential oil products for ten years in the Virgin Islands, while conducting her full-time massage practice. Community service is important to Brenda and she has served on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of St Thomas East, Humane Society of St Thomas VI, US Navy League, VI, Victim Advocate Program of the VI. Brenda is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, former Principal and teacher at the prestigious Sutherland-Chan School of Massage in Toronto. She is Nationally Certified and Florida Licensed. The many years of coaching her clients and friends through difficult times and life-changing experiences encouraged Brenda to formalize this service. Throughout 2010, Brenda trained with Intrinsic Solutions and the Coach Training Alliance to gain certification as a Life Coach. Brenda now offers Life Solutions Coaching, integrating her holistic health knowledge, coach training and first-hand experience of lifealtering events. She helps her clients think their way effectively through problems, challenges and opportunities. She lives in St Petersburg, Florida.
