2 Our Story In 2006, Brad and Heidi Jannenga launched the first ever cloud-based EMR platform for physical therapists. Heidi, an experienced physical therapist and multi-clinic site director, joined forces with Brad, a seasoned technologist and award-winning entrepreneur, to start the company after recognizing a need for a sophisticated, industry-specific platform. The two partnered in business (and later in marriage) and WebPT was born. Today, as President and Chief Technology Officer at WebPT, Brad continues to lead all aspects of the company s technology, while Heidi guides the product strategy and oversees the WebPT brand vision as the company s Chief Operating Officer. Their startup has evolved into one of the nation s fastest growing privately held companies, providing more than 200 local jobs in downtown Phoenix, while helping more than 40,000 Members achieve greatness in therapy practice.
